Desperately need a little assistance from my fellow MW friends I am upgrading my phone, I have Sprint, and I have narrowed my choices to the following two phones. iPhone 4s and the Galaxy S III for money reasons, the iPhone 5 is a remote possibility. Currently have an android and wife has an iPhone and I like it. My concern is which will be better in the parks. Thanks so much.
Go with the 5 or an S3... for use in the parks the problem is the carrier...verizon seems to be the best. However on a busy day it doesn't matter what service you have. - vincentchase1   672.9 #357 1-18-13 1:33PM Like(1)  Reply
Last time I heard Sprint network isn't 100% 4G LTE. This might have changed you should ask or research it before making a purchase. - vincentchase1  672.9 #357 1-18-13 1:38PM
^^^This. Reception is a carrier thing. Sprint does not offer LTE in this area but is rumored to have it sometime this year. - RickChavez  3685.6 #50 1-18-13 1:40PM
I've had my 4s for almost a year now, and I LOVE it! Such a step up from my android! Sprint's network is almost ready for LTE in the area (my hubbies work had reps from each of the major cell companies come in to his work, and they got a ton of questions answered! Sprint's LTE network will be the best!) - GarnerPhotography   324.9 #890 1-18-13 1:51PM Like(1)  Reply
I love the S3...I'll choose the S3 over the Iphone any day, but the Iphone is more user friendly. If you do choose the Iphone i would just go with the iphone5. I know there is really no LTE in Disneyland for sprint, but DL is not the only place you are going to use your phone right. It's really what feels better for you. - VfxGenie   1557.1 #139 1-18-13 2:31PM Like(1)  Reply

I vote iPhone, not many problems at the parks! - ShariRenee   14775.6 #6 1-18-13 1:07PM Like  Reply
If you like the iPhone... do yourself a favor and get the iPhone 5. It's much faster than the 4S and the camera is far superior! - MyPark   1298.8 #163 1-18-13 1:08PM Like  Reply
I have the Galaxy S3 and Love it! Excellent camera. - CastawayjoeCM   279.2 #1210 1-18-13 1:11PM Like  Reply
I have the iPhone 4S and I like it very much. Not too many issues at the park. I agree with MyPark about getting the 5 though. The 4S may become more obsolete the next time there's an update to the Operating System. - MennisDiller   1318.5 #162 1-18-13 1:12PM Like  Reply
My husband has te galaxy s3. He had an iPhone and had it replaced 3 times due to manufactures defects. I have a 4 and haven't had a problem with it whatsoever. - Disneymomab   34.0 #6137 1-18-13 1:13PM Like  Reply
I have the 4s and I really like it but I've heard that the 5 is way faster -   1662.6 #125 1-18-13 1:15PM Like  Reply
Just got the 4s and love it! - Cinderella_Schnooks   3490.8 #53 1-18-13 1:43PM Like  Reply
I have iPhone 4S and Sprint and have a very hard time at Disney unless the crowds are very low. Been happy with Sprint for years but this last year has been very bad with dropped calls and terrible connections all over. - piratelife4me   1105.7 #204 1-18-13 1:43PM Like  Reply

i have a 4s and the hubby has a 5. both have equally good and bad reception in the park :0) can't really chime in on the galaxy. - OhanaPhoto   7105.4 #21 1-18-13 1:56PM Like  Reply
Team iPhone!! - RCmom   5235.3 #30 1-18-13 1:58PM Like  Reply
I have a 4S and it has never let me down in the parks. It takes great pictures (especially when used in conjunction with photo enhancement apps like Camera+) and runs very quickly and smoothly. In terms of connectivity speed that truly depends on your provider; I have Verizon so I can't say much about Sprint's service. I used to have a Droid and since I switched to iPhone I am much more satisfied. - JRDrummer_CM   875.4 #255 1-18-13 1:59PM Like  Reply
iPhone for sure. - sillybilly   65.1 #4593 1-18-13 2:07PM Like  Reply

Just got the iPhone5 yesterday. I have some small issues with liking it. Haven't tried it at the parks yet, but over all I am happy with my decision. - mini_MINNIE   1173.3 #188 1-18-13 2:14PM Like  Reply

I have the IPhone 5 and love it. But I have Verizon. The LTE is super fast and remember apple users get their MW updates first. - PrincessAuroraMomma   603.0 #398 1-18-13 2:40PM Like  Reply
i have an iPhone4S and a Sprint subscriber.. My experience is I HAVE A TERRIBLE Connection inside the park (even during this off-season!). My Battery drains so fast because it keeps on looking for a network connection. My opinion, if you will stick to Sprint Network, just get the Samsung Galaxy S3. iPhones are still a brand new to Sprint network so it is not yet fully tested. - otilegna   2864.0 #60 1-18-13 6:27PM Like  Reply
but, both phones are great! it is just the network. Android phones on a Sprint network seems good. - otilegna  2864.0 #60 1-18-13 6:30PM
I have an android and Sprint. We used to get horrible service in the parks(battery would die just walking to the park) but now the service and battery life is great. - DL4ME   70.3 #4430 1-18-13 7:52PM Like  Reply
