So I want to know what's the least amount of money you spent at the parks. And how many hours were u there for yesterday I was there for 5hrs and spent $14.75 for an adult and a child. I brought snacks n a lunch so that helped. Just want to know if anyone else does the same.
i have gone for well over 5 hours and spent absolutely nothing. that's when i think ahead and pack snacks/own lunch. - nicoleface1279.7 #65 1-21-13 6:18PMLike(4) Reply

We try to bring lunches and snacks to. I have been to the park before without buying anything other than my ticket in. - PixiPirateMaid118.9 #2760 1-21-13 6:20PMLike(1) Reply
The meal prices are actually good. If you buy a lot of snacks though that can get expensive. I'm usually around $13 with ap discount for a very good and filling meal. Compared to sporting events or a concert that is way cheap. - Tom3881.0 #7 1-21-13 6:23PMLike(1) Reply
When I spend a half day there (~5 hours) I don't spend a cent, including parking. On a full day I usually buy 1 meal in the parks and pack in the rest. - JRDrummer_CM792.8 #119 1-21-13 6:24PMLike(1) Reply
Food is a big deal to me so it's hopeless for me to go cheap. But I do always bring snacks for mads since she thinks she is hungry every two hours and that cuts back on wastng money on something she is only going to half eat in the middle of the day. - madsdad1130.7 #72 1-21-13 6:35PMLike(1) Reply
I spent an entire day there, 8am-12am closing and spent about $6. My best friend and I decided to cross off on our DL bucket list to ride every ride in one day. We brought tons of snacks though, and I only bought a cup of coffee and ice cream from Gibson Girls. One of the most memorable days ever :) - CMallyg9285.2 #3210 1-21-13 6:42PMLike(1) Reply

Based on all these delicious looking food posts I think our next trip will be pricey. Not because the food is super expensive but because we'll have to have 5 meals a day to try everything. lol - CamEli175.8 #1918 1-21-13 7:45PMLike(1) Reply
When I was laid off, didn't want the kids to feel it too much. So on our way to the parks, we got our disney popcorn containers out and popped it at home. Plus we bring lots of snacks - mattc180.8 #1855 1-21-13 7:54PMLike(1) Reply
I've made several trips where I haven't spent a cent. Planning to do the same tomorrow, in fact! - JustCantWait815.5 #113 1-21-13 8:01PMLike(1) Reply
Spent 6 hrs. And spent $5.00 on snacks! Ate Zankou chicken before hand! Yummy! Garlic breath was harsh - snappy272.7 #807 1-21-13 8:10PMLike(1) Reply
Somehow, we spend less at Disney per meal, then we do at Ihop or Texas Roadhouse or anywhere else. We travel in a pack of 7 or 8 usually, one time, we didn't want to have to take time to stop for food, so we packed a cooler bag full of sandwiches and snacks, and spent less then 20 at the parks that day. I usually stop at the store on the way, and get larger drink bottles, and the kids fill them up with water when it's empty. - GarnerPhotography321.4 #519 1-21-13 8:12PMLike(1) Reply
This is true, if you actually have a meal, it can be cheaper than regular "eating out." - bluefairy 627.4 #174 1-21-13 8:18PM
I did 8 hrs once , all I got was a big coke from coke corner ! Hit up del taco before the park opened and a double double on the way home ! - snakeinmyboot40270.4 #823 1-21-13 8:15PMLike(1) Reply
We always bring snacks, and sandwiches, but we enjoy rating dinner at the parks. It is always less than a regular restaurant.(Olive Garden ect.) - 7mouskedoodles161.1 #2142 1-21-13 8:21PMLike(1) Reply

Nada after a couple of hours. It pays to live close to the parks. We can eat before we go and leave to come back home to eat as well ;) - LBChica1501.6 #52 1-21-13 9:07PMLike(1) Reply
My husband and I went for 4 days during Lent one year and spent about $30/day total on food and coffee. We usually give up "junky" food and all alcohol. We definitely could have done less if we had wanted to, but we splurged on a few Jamba Juices and turkey sandwiches from Hungry Bear instead of Subway. - Spoonful_O_Sugar436.3 #285 1-21-13 9:09PMLike(1) Reply

Lucky enough to be financially comfortable at this stage of my life, so have always spent. However, quite often have breakfast away from parks eg I-hop, so can stick to dole whips and funnel cakes once inside. Great question Minnie - RapunzelledColey13.1 #6009 1-21-13 9:58PMLike(1) Reply
