Maybe make the day more about the experience the "feeling you get when are at Disneyland." I would make it less about the attractions and more about just being there. Get a hot chocolate or ice cream sit on Main St and people watch. Do things like the Tiki room, take in a parade, walk through the shops look at the little details. Go to DCA visit Carsland. Get a coffee and soak up the atmosphere of B.V Street. Does he love food? Is he competitive? Assuming he ticks both components, a "man vs Disney food" challenge could be organised. E.g. Corn dog, turkey leg, funnel cake, dole whips. I am so glad that you posted this! I have the same problem. Mine just can't handle the crowds. He had an AP for a few years when the kids were little, but he never went. Now that our daughter works there, I think he will go. I love all of the suggestions, they are very helpful to me as well. He came out when he was a child in 1957 from Indiana. He was lost twice in one day. They put him on the Skyway all by himself. They told him to cross over to find his parents. How times have changed! Hi, we talked about this Sunday. I think he would love the bar at Napa Rose and of course The Cove. Get fast passes for Soaring & TOT. Stroll the Boardwalk with a beer from Karl and enjoy the view from the back entrance to Carsland. Have a great time!
