Downtown Disney at the Lego Store! Amazing! These weren't the Lego's I had as a kid!
I have a Lego book that explains the lengthy process for building large models like these. It's incredible how much work goes into each one, even smaller ones. That's why I always gawk at how huge the Dragon is outside the store. - JRDrummer_CM   875.4 #181 1-29-13 10:40PM Like(1)  Reply
That dragon was awesome! I forgot to take a picture of it while I was running by!! Wish someone could capture that pic and post it! - DisneyDavidEMT  1603.0 #82 1-29-13 10:49PM
I wonder how many people try to remove a piece from the outside ones - pikarich  3114.3 #34 1-29-13 10:56PM
Noted... ;) - JRDrummer_CM  875.4 #181 1-29-13 10:58PM
Agreed! I would love to see time lapse video of them creating these. - DisneyGrandma   732.1 #220 1-29-13 10:02PM Like  Reply
I was just thinking the same thing. - JustCantWait  1115.0 #132 1-29-13 10:13PM
Yes they are. It just takes some amazing skill, lots of bricks, and tons of hours to get the finished product. - ScooterMike   1961.7 #62 1-29-13 10:02PM Like  Reply
My Lego's were called Tinker Toys and Lincoln Logs...I didn't have these! 😃 - DisneyDavidEMT  1603.0 #82 1-29-13 10:20PM

They where building this the last time I was there. I hear its amazing in there now. - PixiePirateMaid   299.7 #820 1-29-13 10:13PM Like  Reply
Yes, pretty cool. Inside they have Hulk, a Wizard, and many more things to see. It is always crowded in there. - SafariSkewerJessica  1289.2 #107 1-29-13 10:45PM
What's the approximate time frame that it takes to build large or smaller scale ones? - DisneyFanatic728   13.0 #8111 1-29-13 10:42PM Like  Reply
It's pretty cool how DTD keeps up they're store and even remodeled it. Even the outside Lego models look good. I took my boys to legoland this last weekend and all they're outdoor models are faded and missing pieces. Makes me apreciate Disney and Disneyland a little more - philliprocks   903.1 #171 1-29-13 11:38PM Like  Reply
