Downtown Disney at the Lego Store! Amazing! These weren't the Lego's I had as a kid!
I have a Lego book that explains the lengthy process for building large models like these. It's incredible how much work goes into each one, even smaller ones. That's why I always gawk at how huge the Dragon is outside the store. - JRDrummer_CM789.6 #117 1-29-13 10:40PMLike(1) Reply
That dragon was awesome! I forgot to take a picture of it while I was running by!! Wish someone could capture that pic and post it! - DisneyDavidEMT 451.3 #273 1-29-13 10:49PM
I wonder how many people try to remove a piece from the outside ones - pikarich 608.5 #178 1-29-13 10:56PM
Agreed! I would love to see time lapse video of them creating these. - DisneyGrandma338.0 #440 1-29-13 10:02PMLike Reply

Yes they are. It just takes some amazing skill, lots of bricks, and tons of hours to get the finished product. - ScooterMike1959.8 #35 1-29-13 10:02PMLike Reply

Yes, pretty cool. Inside they have Hulk, a Wizard, and many more things to see. It is always crowded in there. - SafariSkewerJessica 125.7 #2634 1-29-13 10:45PM
What's the approximate time frame that it takes to build large or smaller scale ones? - DisneyFanatic7287.6 #7786 1-29-13 10:42PMLike Reply
It's pretty cool how DTD keeps up they're store and even remodeled it. Even the outside Lego models look good. I took my boys to legoland this last weekend and all they're outdoor models are faded and missing pieces. Makes me apreciate Disney and Disneyland a little more - Philliprocks276.3 #762 1-29-13 11:38PMLike Reply
