What do you mean by affordable? What is your price range? - aidensmama   340.1 #610 4-28-13 4:26PM Like  Reply
I'm thinking around $1,000. A month for an apartment. Something like that! Haha - littlemermaid2319  7.1 #11484 4-28-13 4:33PM
How many bedrooms do you need? I would say most decent two bedroom places start around $1200 at minimum. - aidensmama  340.1 #610 4-28-13 4:43PM
Two bedrooms would be enough! Not too bad! Do you know where some safe apartments are?! And thank you for your help!:) - littlemermaid2319  7.1 #11484 4-28-13 5:00PM
Since the other thing got deleted descent areas IMO are: San Dimas, la Verne, Glendora, parts of Covina, walnut, Claremont, upland, Brea, Yorba Linda,... San Dimas/la Verne have great schools as well. - aidensmama  340.1 #610 4-28-13 5:18PM
That new area in Orange off the 5 seems very nice but not sure on the rents. I think you are going to have to do a little digging into the local area, look at that rentals.com place or somewhere just to start getting an idea. not sure where you are from, but in California you can have a high rent area just two blocks from lower rent areas so you have to come check it out in person too. College areas seem to be good too. - secretagentangel   1242.8 #101 4-28-13 4:59PM Like  Reply
Secretagentangel is right. We own a condo in Orange and within blocks it can change. And the entire community changes. I can tell you that I rented a nice 1 bedroom with a office in Orange in a real nice area for about $1250. - MrsSchnooks  2702.7 #35 4-28-13 6:09PM
I'm right at the border of Cypress & Buena Park, but zip code is Anaheim. Our complex has 2 bedrooms for $1340 and 1 bedrooms for $1035. We're very close to Cypress College, very nice area - LBChica   2008.5 #57 4-28-13 5:01PM Like  Reply

I'm in Huntington Beach, about 25 minutes from DLand, affordable places for sure. I've never anywhere I liked better, except for Montana, but that's WAY too far from the parks! - abudoggie   12.1 #8141 4-28-13 7:06PM Like  Reply
Thanks for this post! My husband and I are planning to move down there too since he's starting his job at DL next weekend and we live in Hollywood. - KladiaDisneyNinja   258.3 #1138 4-28-13 8:07PM Like  Reply
You can get an idea of the cost by going to apartments dot com and searching by city. - aidensmama   340.1 #610 4-28-13 8:20PM Like  Reply
Me and my wife liked Fullerton. Near the college some affordable stuff around there is you don't mind the college kids. Right down 57 freeway about. 10min. From the park. - mexman   12.9 #7858 4-28-13 8:27PM Like  Reply
