Hey Johnny! We love you!!!
My first guess (and it was confirmed with Grindcore's research), is that they have worked this out. This way Johnny is 100% the good guy and the body guard takes the fall as the bad guy. It's smart. Johnny can be devilish, carefree and generous and the body guard keeps it moving. - Zipadeedoodah   215.1 #1708 6-23-13 9:15AM Like(5)  Reply
I'm sure thats true. Has to be difficult to combine crowd pleasing with schedule keeping! - MeridaFan  3507.2 #32 6-23-13 9:24AM
Makes sense. He'd never get anywhere otherwise. Smart. - Tom  8209.9 #5 6-23-13 9:27AM
Plus, bodyguard gets paid whether WE like him or not! Smart! - MeridaFan  3507.2 #32 6-23-13 10:30AM
Gah, I hate his bodyguard - Picklez   29.8 #5461 6-23-13 1:00AM Like(4)  Reply
They were the worst!! Johnny was so willing to sign everyone's autographs and take pics but they kept telling us NO, but he still did!!! - caramiapoohAKAface  3530.1 #31 6-23-13 1:02AM
Oh Johnny the rebel :) - chhunkie  307.4 #796 6-23-13 8:12AM
They were very aggressive - Missymoo  655.8 #263 6-23-13 9:00AM
Geez, if I were Johnny, I would punch those body guards. I mean, LOOK at where the body's guards hands are! Too touchy feely. it IS a movie premier where fans WILL be wanting autographs and pictures. Ugh. Gets me a little ticked. Johnny seems like the type of man hat can defend himself. I mean HELLO, he was a pirate for what? 5 years? 😏 - PrincessMacy   536.5 #344 6-23-13 1:01AM Like(1)  Reply
If its Johnny's pattern to be cool to guests, why doesn't he just arrive earlier? Then he can do all the signing he wants. Or maybe it's a game for Johnny, it's a safe way to get some rebelliousness out? - PrincessDuckie   795.1 #205 6-23-13 7:45AM Like(1)  Reply
Mads adores Johnny Depp. Pretty sure I'd have to take out the bodyguards, get mads her pic, then say see ya in a bit as I get carted off to Disney jail. - madsdad   1846.8 #75 6-23-13 9:05AM Like(1)  Reply
I guess, his bodyguard is doing a reach around to get the pen outta his hand. 😕 - dumbbunny   626.5 #289 6-23-13 1:05AM Like  Reply
Ridiculous! - PrincessDuckie  795.1 #205 6-23-13 7:43AM
Wow talk about overbearing. Johnny should be able to make his own decisions. He is a big boy after all. - missmimi90   1718.1 #81 6-23-13 1:10AM Like  Reply
If I remember right one of the Pirates Premiers Johnny took forever stopping for everyone and it made everything start super late...if I remember right it was like an hour later than planned. And maybe this is why the overbearing Body Guard is with him? - yellowtonka   241.4 #1367 6-23-13 2:31AM Like  Reply
He was still late this time lol - RickChavez  3415.0 #33 6-23-13 2:33AM
This was my 3rd carpet with him. He's always late. Haha. He takes his time with the fans, it's really nice. - Sweet_Irish_Cream  4385.0 #22 6-23-13 2:37AM
I think that if I had the opportunity to meet him and get his autograph, I wouldn't mind the film starting late. I like that he is focused on his fans. =) - MousekaNinja  414.7 #482 6-23-13 4:28AM
From what I remember from interviews with him, he doesn't actually watch his movies anyway. He goes to the premier and then leaves before the movie starts. They should let him sign all the autographs he wants. - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper  646.8 #272 6-23-13 5:25AM
His biography is on the biography channel this week. - secretagentangel  1376.6 #106 6-23-13 5:37AM
Yes! I was surprised that he signed all the people in the front row. - adventurerEnDisneylandia {AED}  808.9 #200 6-23-13 8:58AM
At the second premiere, we sat in front of the castle. His handlers didn't even let him stop, they rushed him in cause it was so late. At the third one, we were at the front of main st., so he wasn't as rushed. Still, it was a very long red carpet he had to get through. - nerdgirl  82.4 #3706 6-23-13 11:50AM
Johnny Depp to his body guards - " your fired" ! Geez, that's ridiculous. - polo33   63.8 #4072 6-23-13 6:18AM Like  Reply
His handlers had booth hands on him most of the time. And the older grey haired one;s face was usually within 12 inches of Johnny's face. It was a bit much. - SparklingMare   53.9 #4333 6-23-13 7:32AM Like  Reply
::swoons:: thank you for the photo! 😍 - Duchess_SMK   5909.5 #14 6-23-13 8:20AM Like  Reply
I googled that bodyguard; he's Johnny's longtime bodyguard Jerry- in other words, he's Johnny's employee by choice and the way he's being handled is probably predetermined and agreed upon by both parties. The guy seems to be with him everywhere and if Johnny didn't want it to be this way, he wouldn't have kept Jerry around for so long - Grindcore   519.0 #359 6-23-13 8:31AM Like  Reply
Great shot, Johnny always seems like the life of the party. - crazy4disney07   39.8 #4859 6-23-13 8:59AM Like  Reply
I can't imagine how bad his wrist hurt at the end. He probably signed a thousand autographs that day. - DLKenCA   2029.1 #62 6-23-13 9:01AM Like  Reply
