Hey everyone, I need some advice! I'm taking my 6 year old niece to the parks this week and was wondering about a stroller. I ended up having to rent one for her last year in the middle of the day. What's the oldest you've had in a stroller? Do you have any other tips to keep her from getting overly tired? Thanks!
My daughter was 8 and we still brought a stroller. Every kid is different. If you don't use it, you can just park and leave it and use it when needed. Keep her hydrated and fed. - Linzee   794.0 #191 7-14-13 1:37PM Like  Reply
Linzee, what kind of stroller do you use for your mini.i need one for our upcoming trip but my super tall 3yo is too tall for the one we have. - CheshireCam  197.0 #1894 7-14-13 1:50PM
We have a Maclaren XLR, holds up to 55lbs. It wasn't cheap but for her to be able to sleep comfortably while we shopped at night and on our way back to the hotel it was worth every penny. - Linzee  794.0 #191 7-14-13 1:57PM
Great question! I have similar questions. - CheshireCam   197.0 #1894 7-14-13 1:51PM Like  Reply
I ended up asking my niece if she wanted a stroller. I expected her to be embarrassed by the idea, but she practically begged me to get her one! Haha. She said, "Yes, please! So I don't get so tired." ☺ Guess I got my answer! - BriHizzle   374.8 #518 7-15-13 2:09PM Like  Reply
My youngest stopped using a stroller at the parks at 3 years of age...she prefers to ride on my shoulders! No wonder I was able to do the Tough Mudder in Lake Tahoe last week and contemplate the Tri for Real in Pleasanton in September... - BombFrogCM   688.1 #227 7-15-13 2:24PM Like  Reply
