In a moment of weakness I signed up for the Run or Dye 5k in Redding this October. I need a training program that starts with putting on running shoes and walking. I am the worst runner. I guess training starts today.
There are some good couch to 5K plans out there. Do you have an iPhone? There are some good ones in the App Store, many of them free. Are you going to train to run the whole thing or are you planning to run intervals? And, by the way, GOOD FOR YOU!!! I like the Couch to 5 K (C25K) app I have on my iphone...I have never been a runner, but this is a great program that will get you started the right way.
