I feel like such a failure, I returned to work this week. It is quite the adjustment for me and my family. I'm exhausted. Laundry isn't done. Dishes are piling up. My house is thrashed. My girls are missing me, my 5 yr old had an accident and wet the bed. I can't help but feel its because of me. I'm doing my best, but its not good enough.
You is kind you is smart you is important (think "Help"). You're a GREAT person and a GREAT Mom and your girls will adjust!  Buy paper plates and teach hubby to clean house and do laundry!  It is AWESOME that you got a job.  Savor the moment and don't beat yourself up.  Anything new requires an adjustment period...this too shall pass.  Now go to sleep and get some rest!   XXXOOO :) :) :) (did you get my package?) - msdizmaui   1117.4 #203 9-7-13 2:02AM Like  Reply
Packages!!!  I saw this, dropped everything and went to the mailbox. I was so excited to see it in the mailbox. Thank you. I love it. It totally made my day.  - Mrs.mouse  543.6 #451 9-8-13 10:41AM
Yay!  I'm glad you like it!  I thought it was super cute! - msdizmaui  1117.4 #203 9-9-13 2:07AM
Aw, it will be fine!  New jobs and schedules take some getting used to.  I don't really have much advice, but just know that, as a woman, I understand and experience a similar struggle (and I don't even have kids yet!).  Something that was never really spoken about when I was young was how HARD it was for a woman to balance professional and domestic life! It's a struggle for sure, and one many of us share and understand :) Be kind to yourself: it will all smooth out! - Spoonful_O_Sugar   718.9 #335 9-8-13 3:46PM Like  Reply
Give yourself a break! You will get it all under control again. There's definitely an adjustment phase. It will come. I hope you have a great week! - ElectricMayhemMom   1768.1 #117 9-8-13 4:40PM Like  Reply
Awww's all going to work out. Adjustment periods are tough but you and your family will adjust and learn to thrive in this new normal. (((Hugs))) - vernswifevickie   400.5 #656 9-8-13 5:27PM Like  Reply
Change is always hard, and it will take some time for all of you to get into a regular routine.  But that does NOT mean you are a failure!  Give yourself some grace during this time of transition.  You'll be a groove soon and so will your entire family.  Hang in there, dear friend. - D55CR   249.9 #1502 9-9-13 3:23PM Like  Reply
Thank you for all the kind words. I really needed them.  - Mrs.mouse   543.6 #451 9-9-13 9:05PM Like  Reply
Hi MM you are nothing near a failure!.. In fact you are a super hero juggling so many things!.. Hang in there you are a terrific role model for your girls!. It's so hard for working moms you feel guilty working and it's usually not a financial option if u don't.I started my son early with chores.. Just little ones so he could earn some money and then we went out for treats..It is exhausting but you are providing a better future for your little minis!.. I was always so proud of my mom raising me and my lil sis alone and I have fond memories of the fun times we had together!.. I am sure your girls will feel the same. It just makes those little moments together that much more special!.. Treat yourself special as well MM!. Delegate what you can and don't worry about the rest!..
