The parade will run nightly until June 18th, then ptn is set to return for the summer (mainly once blocked aps start). But there's already social media buzz about groups planning on camping out spots all day for the first show. I wonder if @redsoxcarlos will bring the old light bulb for it to meet its old friends. @@secretagentangel when's the first meetup - pikarich 7006.4 #18 12-5-16 10:36AMLike(1)Reply

When I heard about this yesterday I was excited and was going to go. Now that I see the cost in just going to see it later. I can't be shelling out more money on top of renewing my AP. $95 a person is to steep for us. - potatohead25 818.3 #261 12-6-16 6:56PMLikeReply
Maybe @SorcererD91 can confirm this since he was the one who told me. The ticket is non refundable so if it rains that night, there would be no parade. - RadiatorSprings4Ever 2856.5 #56 12-6-16 11:51PMLikeReply

I have a question for those who have gotten one- I'm not a magic morning type of person, I usually roll in to the parks around 11:00 if I'm lucky (sad, I know). If I decide to try to get up early and buy a candy cane, what are my odds? How early before opening would I have to get there, and then do I dash to the candy palace? Does anyone have an experience where they got there super early and still didn't get one?I guess what I am asking is how can I increase my chances of getting one if I'm willing to get over there super early. And what the procedure is. I'm tempted to try it because I would like to get one and make it into peppermint bark.
Edited because at first I typed in "magic moron" instead of "morning" which will have me laughing all day😂 - Thumper13 541.9 #427 11-13-16 10:36AMLike(2)Reply

ANAHEIM – Disney is moving one of its security checkpoints so that Downtown Disney is pulled inside its secured area.
The move was expected to be completed by year’s end.
Yah!! That's been one reason we don't like to head to dtd since we have our kids and stroller with us so it takes longer. - brodysmommy 475.1 #500 11-5-16 7:57PMLike(1)Reply
that sounds great! i like security. but they absolutely must increase the number of security lines and metal detectors on the Harbor blvd side! and they need to come up with a transport way of getting from Harbor blvd side to the DLR side without going thru security or walking that whole 2 agonizing miles. - MsTikiMermadam 1707.6 #115 11-5-16 9:27PMLike(1)Reply
Well that explains why the parking structure is a mess. We walk back at night and it seems like it keeps getting farther to enter the lot. Yesterday morning CMs were being trained on the new tram crossings. It was so confusing at 6:30 AM. - Winnie111286 28319.7 #1 11-6-16 12:36PMLikeReply
They will have to have a security check at the GC to DTD like what's at the DCA enterence. Also have to block off the secret exit to DTD. - Goofytom 3891.7 #45 11-6-16 1:47PMLikeReply
