Please add me. My favorite attraction is Dumbo! always the first ride since I was a little one!!! Thank you.
Oh my goodness please add me. Please add me (this is my birthstone color). My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean. My boyfriend (now hubs, we are celebrating our 39th anniversary today) brought me to DL for the first time when I was 17 and Pirates was the very first thing we rode. It was raining when we got on and when we got off and exited the sun was shining on Rivers of America and that's when I fell totally head over heals in love with Disneyland. Sorry for the extra long comment ☺️. Thank you for your generosity 😘 - DisneyGrandma 892.0 #251 5-22-15 3:18PMLike(6)Reply
Very generous Its really nice of you since many people have no opportunity to get one and from MW I see what dedication it took to obtain one. I like Walt's quote on this pin. Please add me. My favorite attraction is Storybook. Thanks. - E-Ticket 1796.0 #116 5-24-15 8:01AMLikeReply
Please add me. live 2,450 miles away in North Carolina! Thanks
Please add me. I googled and found that I am 640.9 miles away. 😕 What an awesome popcorn bucket. This is my husband's favorite image from Star Wars so I'll promise to share! Thanks and have soooo much fun at the Parks today. - TiggersAndTinks 208.6 #2052 5-22-15 1:43PMLike(1)Reply

xwingnikki enightened us all about this practice. I believe it is called funerality photography. and they had to do this way back when. but I wonder if these are just made to look like that. - secretagentangel 15087.0 #7 10-17-13 10:08PMLikeReply

Congrats on your double blessings!! I have 3 yr old twin boys and remember how rough it is towards the end of the pregnancy. Wishing you all the best!!
It's a boy and a girl. So now I'll have two of each. Disney is going to be loving me even more in a couple years when I have to get the twins passes. Lol. - AmberleHolly 140.6 #3061 7-20-13 10:27PMLike(6)Reply

Magic Kingdom Club!!! My mom and I were just talking about how we missed the discounted ticket prices.
Not a bad price. I wonder how much annual passes were back then . By the way when did the annual passes start??? - ChristopherRobin661 281.1 #1199 6-19-13 8:16AMLike(1)Reply
Had to reply (my first) I found a "Disneyland today" handout from April 20 1987 the annual passes were $135 for adults and $100 for kids 3-11 they also had a "three season passport" meaning you could visit for three different months of the year for $60. Yes things have changed but the annual pass is still worth the price - EeyoreLover 25.9 #7069 6-19-13 4:05PMLike(1)Reply

I love star tours and space mountain, but hoping someday they re do this land and make it more futuristic. - madsdad 1868.2 #110 5-21-13 8:13AMLike(1)Reply
I don't think I realized all of these changes happened at one time! I was in college and didn't go to DL that often during this time period I think. I really enjoyed reading this, thank you! I did go on the Rocket Rods once, after waiting almost 2 hours in line! 😁 - MinnieMousewife 928.2 #245 5-21-13 9:07PMLike(1)Reply
I attended the re-dedication.. It's always exciting to be a part of any special event at the Park. I still have my ears and a Tomorrowland mouse pad with Mickey dressed as an astronaut ... good times...! - carminaire 1171.7 #191 5-21-13 4:44PMLikeReply
I can still remember the rocket rods! It was such a cool ride! - BriarBeauty 124.6 #3330 5-21-13 7:59PMLikeReply
We collect trading pins and pressed pennies and quarters. The kids love saving quarters and pennies for our trips.

I have been on the DCA and WDW versions. I felt that the WDW version was weird since you do move on a track and the view you see is of the building rockin roller coaster is in. DCA's version has a better view of the parks making you real More...
😱😱 I have yet to ride this attraction. Very interesting about the operation and how this attraction is so efficient!! Thank you SMK! I always learn new and cool things from your Disney History!! You're awesome!! You still haven't gotten me on TOT😂😂 - MyPark 1298.8 #165 5-5-13 7:43AMLike(2)Reply
Did you know that the actual Tower is one of the tallest buildings in Anaheim? Also, because of its height, it would have required a light on top for the pilots flying over if the height went over 200 feet. So, Disney made it 199 feet tall, thus not requiring a red light and to keep the tower in "show". - BaseballMickey 9257.3 #14 5-5-13 9:21AMLike(2)Reply

My first time on TOT was with my aunt and 2 little cousins. I was terrified and screamed the whole time. When we looked at our picture they all made funny faces and i looked like i was going to cry. Sometimes ill ride it and then other visits i just can't do it! - soccersteph 3.3 #34489 4-9-13 8:59AMLikeReply
Its usually just me and my minis. The older mini is old enough to ride by herself, but not old enough to do a rider swap with me as the younger mini won't go on it and is too young to leave by himself. So, I was super excited that over Easter weekend my hubby suprised us with an impromtu trip to DL and I got to ride the TOT!! It's been five years since I've been on it and I forgot how fun it was!!! - GoofyMom77 1162.9 #194 4-9-13 9:08AMLikeReply

We just went in February and did 2 days at Magic Kingdom 1 day at the other parks. We have 3 yr old twin boys, 5 yr old boy and 12 yr old girl. Out of all the parks we loved Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.
Hollywood studios and animal kingdom were both fine for one day when we went but I wish we had spent more time at magic kingdom.. There's just so much to see!
It also depends on what time of year you are going.. We went in September and it was not crowded so we got on all the rides without a wait. Also make sure to save a day for just relaxing by the pool and exploring downtown disney. We didn't do that and we really regretted it!
Have fun! I'm jealous! - danicali43 58.5 #4829 4-3-13 2:13PMLikeReply
Epcot and Animal Kingdom 2 days... We even spent a day visiting all the different resort hotels! Then spent the evening at downtown Disney . The parks close earlier than in calif . so you may have more free time in the eve to relax - carminaire 1171.7 #191 4-5-13 3:33PMLikeReply
There's a lot of travel involved in park hopping there, I'd say 2 days each Epcot and magic kingdom! - MJmouse 376.2 #708 4-5-13 4:08PMLikeReply

Get the little bubble bottles from a place like Walmart. I get the cheap pack of them for weddings in the craft section. I use these in long lines to keep my kids entertained. Usually other kids inline end up enjoying them too. - leviathan 185.6 #2345 3-24-13 8:01PMLikeReply
Bring the grandma backup plan! Lol! When I went with my BFF and her family (including 1 year old twins), grandma brought her kindle and hung out at the grand lobby. We took the kids to Minnie breakfast at plaza, changed them, went on two rides, watched the Christmas parade, then sent them home with grandma and enjoyed the rest of our day. 😂😂😂 - bluefairy 643.8 #372 3-24-13 11:18PMLikeReply

On our visit to WDW 3 weeks ago we loved that they had designated stroller parking by the carousel and asked to park stroller while visiting Fantasyland attractions. This helped a lot with the stroller congestion in front of attractions, More...
This makes sense to me. In such a small area, a ton of strollers will very quickly clog that area and make getting around very difficult. This should help with the flow of guests. And parents that are upset, shouldn't be. Having a stroller doesn't entitle you. - DisneyFanZoe 1249.3 #170 2-28-13 9:44AMLike(17)Reply
If they're concerned about wait times and crowding there, they should just ban Fredo, I hear he holds up the lines talking to his women. Much simpler (face for sarcasm) - CM_Shadowgamer 2686.8 #66 2-28-13 11:16AMLike(10)Reply
