It looks great! Where did you get the Disneyland on top? I think my husband would kill me if I took over a room like this. But then again, we have 49ers memorabilia all over the house. 😂😂😂 - LaPearleNoir1107.9 #112 4-23-14 6:29AMLikeReply

I've read on here that if you ask City Hall they may have a schedule of when and where characters will be. I usually find her by the wishing well though

She tends to be just to the right of the castle in Snow White's grotto. City hall should be able to give you times. CMs in the area might know. - DLKenCA1195.0 #97 4-20-14 10:28AMLikeReply
I think ours is better. Makes me sad they don't have the Peter Pan segment and their boat makes me laugh compared to our gorgeous Mark Twain...but it still is an amazing show and we see it every time we go!

Too bad they only offer this for Disneyworld. Hopefully DLR will get these awesome bands. - sillybilly44.1 #4377 4-16-14 12:29PMLikeReply

Dave - do you know if you get a discount on hotels with a premier pass? We're going in December and upgrading our premium passes to premier for our trip but wasn't sure if you get a discount on hotels like here at DL. - DisneyLuvinMama259.4 #1099 4-16-14 1:02PMLikeReply
Either one- weather is going to be either be super dry heat or super humid heat. Take your pick! Disneyland is almost unbearable with crowds during the summer but WDW isn't bad at all and they have nice water parks
If you haven't been to disneyWORLD, give it a try. If I had the choice it would be DisneyWorld, because I never have a chance to go there. Disneyland is always my favorite though. - DisneylandGirl233.7 #1383 4-16-14 7:15AMLikeReply

The one thing about disney world that I don't like is the travel that is required to get to each park, I think it takes a lot of time, where in disneyland you can stay across the street for a reasonable price and walk to and from the parks and go from one park to the other easily. Also take into consideration the cost of park passes and Photopass as it is a bit more in WDW! - MJmouse257.1 #1122 4-16-14 9:20AMLikeReply
If you get to the park right when it opens they play Circle of Life- such a thrill! We like riding Everest every morning before going about our day elsewhere.

Please add me!My favorite princess is Rupunzel. She is innocent and outgoing and adventurous...excited about simply putting her bare feet in the grass and smelling the flowers.

Probably my favorite show in all of WDW! Actually, the music was written by Robert Lopez, the same guy who wrote the lyrics to Frozen. We always end up singing all of the songs all the way home. They need to bring this to DCA! - BaseballMickey_CM5346.0 #12 4-4-14 9:42AMLikeReply
Honestly I have owned two pairs of these shoes already for how comfortable they are. The Mickey Disney crocs they sell in the World of Disney store are well worth it! Wore em for 10 days at WDW and my feet were happy :)

I FOUND SOME SHOES!!! HOORAY! I went shoe hunting based on the feedback here and Both my daughter and I ended up getting Sketcher's Go Walk 2. Good arch support, at least for me, and when you rock back on your heal you can really feel the cushion. I think we are going to be very happy with our choice. Thank you all so much for the input!!! And I'm really glad this thread helped others as well. :) - LovemesomeDoleWhip108.7 #3176 11-11-13 2:30PMLikeReply

I am so so sorry. That is a fear that haunts me; saying good bye to your best friend.
My heart goes out to you...my husband and I know all to well the pain you're undoubtedly feeling. Two and a half years ago, we were in line for Haunted Mansion when we got a call from our vet--we immediately drove home to Nor Cal to spend our last night with our first dog. It was without a doubt the hardest thing I've had to do. We turned around and headed back to DL because we had a room at the Grand paid for (and our family was there), and it just seemed fitting. We found solace in the poem Rainbow Bridge: http://tinyurl.com/n4jnzcy We have since welcomed a new pup, Joey, and we miss our first dog dearly, but are so happy with our new friend. I wish that they had known each other. Cherish those memories and keep your hope for the future alive. Big hugs to you! - Spoonful_O_Sugar492.3 #343 10-27-13 9:22PMLike(2)Reply

Thank you pikarich for starting this thread, as I had touched on it a bit on a different thread. I don't need a card, but we do get one for my nephew with severe autism. If you think of any questions now, write them down, so that, when you get to the parks, you'll be able to ask. Also, PLEASE don't take the new system as a personal insult against you, it's not (unless you're one of the people that was abusing the system and helped bring about these changes...in which case, feel free to approach me in park and complain to my face so I can call you out in public). Get the names of the CM's that have helped you with the new system, and make note of what they have told you, and make any extra notes regarding the good and the bad of what you have experienced. Next, take that information to City Hall at the end of your visit, give credit where credit is due, and GIVE THE PARK FEEDBACK as to how the system is being handled. Don't whine or complain because it's not the old system, just give feedback. It will help them get through the changes, which will benefit us all in the coming weeks. Just be patient. - X-WingNikki798.7 #171 10-9-13 3:07PMLike(7)Reply
This is a great thread, thanks rich. I just wanted to point out that there are questions guests have about DAS that Disney doesn't even have answers to yet because the system is so new. Kinks are going to be ironed out and revisions and changes will most likely be ongoing, especially in the coming weeks. So please be patient with CMs as we adjust, and we will be patient with you in return. Have a magical day everyone! - JRDrummer_CM875.4 #153 10-9-13 4:47PMLike(2)Reply

I have some bad news. According to the amazingly awesome plaid, Brenda, at City Hall, there will be no hatbox buckets until Friday. She called around for us and they ran out Sunday before we could get one. Brenda even walked us to one of the popcorn carts and asked herself. She did call around to the managers and finally I believe the distribution manager for (catering?) something like that and they said they expect them Friday. - BeatleMike488.3 #347 10-1-13 10:52AMLike(1)Reply

I have not seen it, but if any indication from other years, they have to sell the last years of popcorn and coffee first then they bring out the new, usually with the start of the parties which is tomorrow. - secretagentangel1160.4 #100 9-26-13 4:02PMLikeReply
