So beautifully said. You make all of us who are far away feel the magic of an evening at Disneyland. Thanks.
I am thinking Disney should tap you for their next promotional campaign. Thank you for that fantastic perspective! - turkeylegman387.4 #439 10-3-13 10:26AMLike(3)Reply
This littery brought a tear to my eye, this is so perfect. What you have said is exactly how I feel about walking into Main Street every time. I can always think about the many family and friends I've walked down that street with. I feel very lucky to have had as many magical memories I've had with Disney. - APirateslifeforme31108.0 #3117 10-3-13 10:41AMLike(1)Reply
Now that I am a CM I totally understand how CMBaloo feels. It is a magical place for guests and just as magical for me as a CM. - sr citizen space ranger59.1 #3844 10-4-13 11:44AMLikeReply
Oh, my gosh. Just like mrscttlemstr, I got chills. To know you feel that way is overwhelming because, as you know, that is how we all feel about the magic you, as a CM, create. Right along with the park. It couldn't happen without you. I want to meet you!!! - Cyette6.1 #10967 10-8-13 1:05PMLikeReply
The bottom reads: "All of us at the Magic Kingdom hope that your visit today will be a happy and memorable one. Your enjoyment of this and future visits is the first consideration of all Disneylanders."

Holy cow! I have this too! I bought it for $5 at an antique shop in Gilory, CA. Its amazing at the details that are inside. They show ticket prices, food costs and the entertainment sched. I believe it came from an insurance company that either had a booth / store / or sponsorship with the park. Truly amazing! - Donna1988207.8 #1681 4-19-13 1:46PMLikeReply
Congratulations! I've long enjoyed your pictures and posts and i'm happy you get to stay in CA.
CONGRATS!!!!! well done and welcome! (now we need to have a chat). - CMBaloo1007.3 #112 3-19-13 4:36PMLike(14)Reply
That is awesome news! I'm very happy for you! I don't post a whole lot in the lounge but I do watch everyday and I could tell that you didn't want to leave out of state like you mentioned. Disney has gained another remarkable person to their already remarkable cast this brings so much joy to my heart I love to read all the wonderful stories and memories that everyone has of their visits to disneyland thank you for all your pictures and quality content and I'm very happy you get to work and play in the happiest place on earth :) p.s I saw you as I entered the park the day you interviewed but was to shy to say hello - mickeyjimenez75.8 #3556 3-19-13 5:06PMLike(8)Reply
I had to hold my breath at first, when I saw the words 'on a cereal box.' LOL. Thought you'd gone mad, posting from your own kitchen! Hahahaha. Great catch! - MeridaFan2426.2 #34 2-18-13 6:01PMLike(1)Reply
No they just call it Malibu Mocha because of the previous California theming of the park. I guess enough of us complained that they brought it back and served it at Schmoozies now. They probably kept the name so we (the complainers) would know it was back. :-D - disneyland-diva12.9 #6942 2-18-13 12:07AMLikeReply
I've been to Disneyworld 4 times in the last 2 years, and I feel like I haven't scratched the surface of stuff to see there. They are 2 completely different universes. I don't think one is better than the other. - chelebee273.2 #929 2-15-13 3:34PMLike(2)Reply
i like both, but i can't say that WDW is better.. for a few reasons: a) weather is WAY too unpredictable. bring a poncho, umbrella, sweater and jacket for a single day's worth of crazy weather. b) park to park requires serious car/shuttle motion.. none of this "walk across the esplanade" stuff. c) the magic kingdom has generally all the same rides, +/- a few things, the only new experiences are at AK and Epcot. - SultanPprShkr328.9 #601 2-15-13 5:26PMLikeReply
I think they're both special in their own ways. I like the quaintness of DL. It was the first park I visited and will always remember that. WDW is amazing. You are immersed in the magic of Disney which is awesome. Comparing them is just out of the question. They are both wonderful! - minigirl1156503.8 #295 2-15-13 5:41PMLikeReply
NOS for all the attraction, ambiance, dining & dwelling reasons mentioned previously, as well as its a great place to watch Fireworks and Fantasmic (you can even see Tinker Bell fly!) - TinkerSchelle839.6 #141 2-6-13 12:47PMLikeReply
Yay for Canada! My husband is a "good ol' Alberta boy". We went around that time in 2012 and it was empty. The weekends tend to be more crowded than the weekdays, but it should still be pleasant. You won't have to wait long to buy tickets at the park, just show up as early as possible to take advantage of everything. Have a great time! - Pollyanna702211.1 #1637 1-10-13 3:58PMLikeReply
Welcome! *cues song 'Oh Canada'* ;o) There is no real way to predict the crowds, but February is certainly not like summer. As for tix.....at the ticket office at the parks. Enjoy your trip! With MW, you will sure to experience much more magic! - MomWithAJuiceBoxBuzz929.5 #123 1-10-13 4:05PMLikeReply
