Glad they are doing this. And please be patience with CM. when everyone gets the hang of the new rules it will be smoother. Wish they enforced this year's ago.
We left the park tonight and this policy is a JOKE. There were 5 CMs going down the line and making people pick up blankets. There were people sitting FILLING up the sidewalks on main street. There really was no enforcement. Until they get more CMs, there isn't much they can do. The CM said they were "trying" but with only 5 there wasn't much they could do. It will be interesting to see how this plays out going forward. - DLKenCA 3557.2 #50 3-4-17 11:07PMLike(3)Reply
I agree with the new policy and will fully support the CM's who are doing their best to enforce it. I hope all MW'ers support park policies (whether they agree with them or not). - msdizmaui 1092.6 #206 3-5-17 7:16PMLike(2)Reply
WINNER: @@@@BriarRose406 -- guess was 192 ornaments. Actual count is 191! Congrats, please DM your info and also tell me your 3 favorite Disney characters. - jacdanfan 15408.4 #5 1-3-17 5:34PMLike(4)Reply
Serves 4-6. 1 large white onion, cut in half and thinly sliced. 4 T butter, divided. 2 lbs red potatoes thinly sliced. Coarse salt, freshly ground pepper to taste. Preheat oven to 400F. Sauté onions in 2 T butter in a large skillet over medium heat until translucent; remove from pan and set aside. In same pan, add remaining butter and potatoes and sauté until lightly browned, about 15 min. Season with salt/pepper. Combine onions and potatoes in an ovenproof casserole dish; cover with foil and make small slits for ventilation. Bake 45 min or until potatoes are tender - msdizmaui 1092.6 #206 12-16-16 10:15PMLike(3)Reply
yes. they check before u can get on tram. and any other parking lots entering downtown disney and harbor blvd entrance. because of bomb scare at universal citywalk 3wks ago - wrxdave 0.1 #109142 12-16-16 12:35PMLike(1)Reply
When you get walk out of Mickey & friends parking you go through security first before boarding the trams. Or if you walk to DTD there is security there also now. - DDTINK57 446.8 #566 12-16-16 1:03PMLike(1)Reply
I too appreciate the fans! Especially the time we were in line and witnessed someone barf in there (hastily wiped up but leftover stale scent)... - MabelMouse 484.1 #503 12-15-16 12:55PMLikeReply
I don't get a headache, but I do get claustrophobic in there. In both there, and Space Mountain, I leave a large space between me and the people in front of me. When they move, I move forward. Drives the people behind me crazy. - disneyforme 925.4 #238 12-15-16 3:32PMLikeReply
Oh yeah! Decorate the "girls" perch with garland and ornaments! Replace the pineapples with mini trees. Turn the drummers into red-nosed drummers. Put beards on the tiki columns? Snow instead of rain? brilliant! - Saldogmom 87.7 #4012 12-14-16 5:35PMLike(1)Reply
I really like the idea. Especially if they sing Mele Kalikimaka. That's one of my favorite Christmas carols. They could have it "snow" inside. The Santa hats and Christmas sweaters is also a cute idea. They could also decorate the outside with Christmas trees and wreaths and sell the dole whips in special Christmas cups. - potatohead25 853.6 #259 12-29-16 9:39AMLikeReply
I think it gets canceled if there is rain, but you never know what the weather is actually gonna turn out to be there lol. Plus sometimes the weather day vs. Night is different. I hope you have a magical time regardless! Rain days are my favorites because Californians are babies about getting wet and there are minimal lines 😂 - Poisen_Ivy 409.1 #627 11-16-16 2:42PMLike(1)Reply
Isn't paint the night done after the 60th anniversary? - Plumiegirl 10886.0 #11 11-16-16 9:22PMLikeReply
Tell them how to use fast past. Which they are able to get on more rides.
For their first visit, take advantage of the Fast Pass system. Unlike other theme parks, Disneyland doesn't charge for it. Also, take their time and don't rush to do everything. - BaseballMickey 9017.7 #14 10-10-16 9:28PMLike(4)Reply
Hi👋🏼👋🏼 take time to look at the map and organize your must dos. If you must ride Spacemountain, Indy, Matterhorn, and Star tours....don't forget pirates....in that order could be a lot of running around and wasting time. Start at one of your must dos and on your way to the next must do catch every short line in between. You end up doing so much and do all that you wanted. - Bassplayerswife 1202.1 #177 10-10-16 9:32PMLike(3)Reply
Thank you. My husband has diabetes. Pray for cure for diabetes & all cancers.
Autism acceptance...cure for Diabetes..cure for cancer..and not judging people for what they look like or how they dress...accepting and respecting them for who they are. - makeitbluesaysmerriwether 506.9 #473 9-6-16 6:00PMLike(5)Reply
I wish for world peace. If all the money spent on warfare were diverted to healthcare I don't think we'd need a wishing well. For example: we spend 3 billion a year for Afghan security. And that's a small portion of our foreign aid for military purposes. Makes you think, doesn't it. And to rant, I understand our government is having trouble trying to budget for Veteran care. - jacdanfan 15408.4 #5 9-7-16 11:25AMLike(2)Reply
