It loads a bit quicker. Updates on the app are usually released for that version first. Plus, you get to say you have platinum! It's all around awesomeness!!! - SPandEvLover 3279.8 #34 4-19-14 6:49PMLikeReply
I kind of treat it like Walt's Apartment in a way that Walt used it and he used it as a place to entertain his guests during their visit in the park (it even has the same carpet as the apartment). It was kind of like a living museum in a way. From it being open to the public almost everyday, I could see how the car would get more use from all the guests it would carry. Like how the apartment is open to tours, but has its limits to what guests can see and touch, this is the same situation. - BaseballMickey_CM 6672.0 #11 4-2-14 1:30PMLike(4)Reply
LilChurro, BabyChurro and I rode it last summer. It was a great experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I sat in the Johnny Depp chair, too. Felt like a Rock Star😎😂😂. I understand why Disney is doing it, but a bummer for those that did not experience it. However, there are many things we will never get to experience in life. I will probably never experience a Plaid showing me about. I will probably never experience the Dream Suite or a suite at The Grand. 😊i am grateful for what I have experienced 😄😄 - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 4973.6 #18 4-2-14 2:52PMLike(4)Reply

I'll probably post up the Haunted Mansion one later in the week. Probably have to do it as a 2 parter since there was a change in the storyline sort of with Constance's taking over. Can also go through the whole concept to present if people really want it since I know most the history of the Mansion since it's inception - CM_Shadowgamer 2383.0 #49 2-3-14 12:42AMLike(3)Reply
Just remembered I didn't put some fun facts in to this post and decided to make it a reply instead of a new post. Anyway, there are several actual movie props inside of the attraction. The chair Jack Sparrow sits on in the treasure store at the end of the attraction was used in the dining room scenes of the Haunted Mansion movie (they also have one in Florida and one appears in one of Constance's wedding photos in Haunted Mansion). The chest that held the cursed gold can be seen in the treasure scene with the skeletal pirate sitting on top of the gold pile. It is against the wall on the far side as you enter, closest to where the Davy Jones projection is. The final prop from the movie that I'm aware of is the boat that Pintel and Ragetti use when dressed as women. It will be tied up next to the fortress wall on your right hand side as you turn into the city after the battle scene. Speaking of Pintel and Ragetti, the two laughing pirates closest to where Jack is hiding near the well are who they are modeled after. One has a glass eye, and one has a peg leg (which I guess they didn't go with in the movie). Finally, the captain at the auction was originally the first Mr. Lincoln animatronic. - CM_Shadowgamer 2383.0 #49 2-26-14 2:26PMLike(3)Reply

Oooh so exciting, I've been wanting to stay a night at the famous HoJo. Please add me. My favorite Christmas treat are chocolate crinkle cookies... I can never pass those things up, it's an addiction like Tri Tip Sliders. - BeatleMike 567.8 #319 12-20-13 8:22PMLike(1)Reply
I miss the original music and wish they would bring it back.
We miss the old music. We have it on our Disney play list. Every time it comes on, we close our eyes and can still feel the twists and turns, ups and downs of the ride. Nerdy, I know, but that's what we love! - imjustsayin111 247.8 #1284 12-16-13 5:58AMLikeReply

I actually love the music they play now. I hope they never change it. Well, of course they have to change it for GG!! - Superspacemountainfan 82.8 #3694 12-16-13 10:14AMLikeReply
I love this! It couldn't be more perfect - the clothes are great and that flocking is amazing! I wish they still did that. - DisneyOnesie 614.8 #290 12-13-13 8:13AMLikeReply
I kinda love the simple round ornaments. That's really what there was back in those days. I like the simplicity of it. I do also enjoy all the trees today, too. Even if they aren't real, they still say Christmas to me. - MeridaFan 3485.3 #30 12-13-13 7:38PMLikeReply
