I think people will still pay- the magic is priceless. What Disneyland offers no one else can match. Nice try though. I think their best bet would be to call capacity sooner. And only sell a certain number of tickets per day - missariel33 2037.4 #67 5-29-15 3:05PMLike(6)Reply
Here's my 2 cents...bottom line you get what you pay for. I guarantee if you visit another "park" you will quickly notice the difference. Every time my AP increases, I'll admit I moan and groan a bit, then am reminded of what I really get. A one day park ticket barely (or maybe not even close) covers ONE employee for one day. Not sure what Disneys insurance payouts or workers comp ins rates are but I think it costs far more than $99 for that one single cm going out of their way to ensure a magical visit. If Disney has to implement different ticketing prices and strategies then I stand behind them. I pay for the magic and it's worth every single penny. Bottom line, you get what you pay for - DisneyPrincessT 83.8 #3724 5-30-15 5:10PMLikeReply

I noticed people saving spots at around 5 pm for the 8:50 showing on Saturday.
If there is a second show and you can hold out for that, it's much easier and less waiting. I've seem people as early as 3-4pm. It starts getting crowded by 5pm. - DLKenCA 2176.2 #60 5-25-15 8:50PMLike(1)Reply

i refrained from buying one this weekend while I was in the parks, but now I'm positive I need one!!!!!
Ooh. I kinda like that. Dare I inquire as to cost? (And don't you love how this is one of the few places we can ask people what they paid for something and not be considered impertinent? 😂😂😂) - MeridaFan 3530.3 #36 5-25-15 10:15AMLike(3)Reply

I'm preparing for long line and crowds but excited to be there in 20 hours!!!!! So excited
This will be my 2nd year working the 24 hour party I have a pretty easy shift 18:30-22:30 but CMs are being routed to Angel stadium so guests can park in our lot. It's not so bad...I can't wait to see the new WOC! Have fun everyone, pack your patience and above all else, be polite! Thanks! - CM_Tamstirr 553.2 #339 5-21-15 10:39PMLike(4)Reply
Hello! No line for me tonight. I can't handle the 24 hour crowds but I can't wait to see all of the pics. I'm excited for those that are going. I hope it doesn't rain on the people in line. Pack patience this weekend, be safe, and have fun! - luxkitty 2555.9 #46 5-21-15 10:47PMLike(2)Reply

Salads are always a relatively healthy choice as long as you go light on dressing. We like Bengal BBQ in DL (meat skewers & grilled asparagus) and lucky fortune in DCa (chicken & veggie bowl with brown rice). When all else fails and I'm craving something else, I always split it with my hubby or daughter. - DisneyPrincessT 83.8 #3724 5-16-15 3:02PMLike(1)Reply
Salads are available almost everywhere, but they can be loaded with fat/cals if you aren't careful. I always as for dressing on the side so I can control how much I use. Bengal bbq in DL and Paradise Garden Grill in dca have kebabs, which are good options. I've read on a few websites that Dole Whips (just soft serve--not the float) are relatively low-cal: something like 100 cals per 1/2 cup, though I'm sure the DL serving is bigger than that. Basically, it's hard to find low calorie stuff, even if you're making healthy choices--portions are gigantic everywhere. We have found that sharing a meal and adding a side salad helps. We also being our normal snacks (string cheese, Luna/Lara bars, etc) so that if we find we need a pick me up mid-day, we don't blow a bunch of calories on something we can grab quickly, but don't really want. - Spoonful_O_Sugar 586.3 #319 5-16-15 9:13PMLikeReply

Newport Beach is the closest and very nice, walking around Balboa Island and riding the ferry is fun too. The Discovery Cube a few exits down is fun for kids if you have them, lots of cool interactive exhibits and fun 4D movies. Old Town Orange is nice for walking around and having lunch and just a few minutes from DL. Bowling at the Bowlmor at The Gardenwalk or the cool Lucky Strike lanes in Orange at the outlet mall are fun too! - ShariRenee 6202.5 #14 4-8-15 3:54PMLikeReply

Tear it down plus half of the autotopia track and old boat ride area ..such a huge waste of space that could much better utilized ..think about it ..autotopia user to be two attractions and now one . Utilize the space better and keep it but make it leveled like a freeway !! So much more room that could span from Tomorrowland to near small world plaza - Dave 12727.2 #2 3-11-15 11:50PMLike(2)Reply
