Hi and welcome to MW. I am gonna be bold and suggest that you contact Admin regarding this very generous RAK. I know with the issues of the past it would make all of us feel a bit safer. Thank you. - Deltachiq969.0 #90 9-3-12 1:13PMLike(25) Reply
This is a good idea. If I'm not mistaken, the last person to rak a 33 trip had to talk to admin too so it would be a nice idea😊 - ladylikesdisney 921.5 #95 9-3-12 1:37PM
According to this I live27040980 feet away from Disneyland in Belfast Northern Ireland and we try and get there twice a year, next trip Sept 7th, can't wait..
Pasadena, where the parades are rosey. I visit quite often with no real pattern. Let's just call it several times a month. - ScooterMike1959.8 #35 7-18-12 11:12PMLike(4) Reply

Welcome! WDW consists of 4 parks. Seeing everything in all 4 parks in one day is impossible to do. Maybe just focus on one park? - BaseballMickey_CM2810.8 #16 6-6-12 9:17PMLike Reply
*6 Parks! 7 if you dare to include Disney Quest. - Nyghtngale 547.8 #203 6-6-12 9:36PM
@Strawberry I did it :) If you need help, let me know - BaseballMickey_CM 2810.8 #16 6-6-12 9:51PM
Yes, that would be over the top, even for me! Actually, we were thinking of going to the one with Cinderellas castle. We would like to do a trip with all of our kids in a couple of years and go to all the parks. - 7mouskedoodles161.1 #2137 6-6-12 9:28PMLike Reply
Not possible to see everything in a day. We had 7 and barely made it through everything! Hollywood studios was my favorite park followed by animal kingdom. - missyandpaul 255.7 #949 6-6-12 11:10PM
if u want to see the 4 parks in one day, make sure to maximize your time. Dont do rides, but take a lot of pics on main structures. (the tree of life - animal kingdom; sorcerer hat - hollywood studios; spaceship earth - epcot; cinderella castle - magic kingdom)
But again, time is very important here... - otilegna861.5 #106 6-7-12 1:33AMLike Reply

The Guiness apparently tastes better here,as it's not meant to travel very well, however I am ashamed to admit,I have never tried it,not a big beer drinker.

We try and get twice a year,we live in Ireland, last year we added another trip to Wdw,however for us,it was fun,but not Disneyland.
Well, MW says I'm currently 5691775 ft from Jolly Holiday Bakery!! A little too far to visit very often - I'm hoping to make it back to DL in 2 years :) in the meantime, I have all of you "regulars" to give me my daily Disney fix!! - AbbyDLfriend233.2 #1194 3-20-12 11:58PMLike(5) Reply

Take the firetruck down Main Street and say good morning to Walt as we pass the firehouse since he liked to drive that around the park every morning himself! Then and night as we leave, we ring the bell inside and say good night and thanks for his park! - DiscoSteve252.3 #984 2-2-12 8:37AMLike(2) Reply
We visited Orlando in Nov past, had a blast, however both my wife and I decided, the California Disney feels better, more authentic,we liked Orlando,we love California, just our opinion..
California Adventure Park ;) i do wish to go to WDW someday, bu the humid temperatures and insane crowds hold me back.. question is, is it worth going to? is it different enough from DL to justify the airfare and price? - DonaldMissingPants296.2 #630 2-2-12 12:31AMLike(1) Reply

I am so sorry for your loss,I will pray for you and your family.
It brings tears to my eyes as I read your post. I am so deeply sorry for your lost. I lost my parents a few years ago only months apart. The pain that the heart feels is agonizing. It feels like a piece of you has died along with them. I was their caregiver for almost ten years and you watch the strongest people you have ever known dwindle down. Please take comfort in the fact that your mother had vitality and enjoyment of life almost til the very end. She got to see her daughter grow into a wonderful woman and meet her grandchildren. The people we love most in this world never really "die". They live on in the people they've touched, in the memories we have created, and in the reflection of you. What you are feeling right now is absolutely normal. Every minute of the day, sadness will overwhelm you. Please take your mother's love and turn it into strength. Your little ones need you to remind them grandma will always be in their hearts forever. The love you and your mother shared was a gift. Please be well. You are in my prayers. - Willierose1175.9 #68 2-1-12 4:27AMLike(36) Reply

This was lovely written. Bless you. I have lost a few very important people in my life but I can never say that they "died" because they are still here in my life...watching over me every day. Mrssumr we are all here for you and if you ever need ANYTHING please don't hesitate to contact one of us. Love you so much! - AshleyLynn22 747.6 #136 2-2-12 7:15PM
i am so sorry. i can't even begin to imagine what you're going through right now. sometimes you just need to vent and don't know who to talk to, especially when you have to put on a brave face for kids or others. just know i listened/am listening.<3 - nicoleface1247.5 #65 2-1-12 1:52AMLike(2) Reply
I am so incrediblely sorry for your loss. I know that nothing anyone says will take the pain away from you and your family. I am praying for you and your family. I know that you feel very lost and broken right now but please know that God loves you. I know it feels like God has left you but He is with you. As hard as it is to believe, this is part of God's plan for your life. You have to go through the dark valley before you get the the mountain top. God is protecting you and your family. Greater things are yet to come for you and your family. God is always with you. He died for you. He adores you. He will not give you anything that you are not strong enough to handle. Remember the good times you had with your mom and know how much she loves you. You will be reunited with her one day. Stay strong and be fearless. God will never leave you or foresake you. Jeremiah 29:11 says I know the plans I have for you, plans to keep you and not harm you. I promise I will continue to pray for you and your family. Just continue to follow God and remember that you are loved. God will never leave you. He loves you. - kayceeb111.1 #2884 2-3-12 12:19AMLike Reply
It pleases my heart to hear my words have helped. Heartache has been too frequent a visitor in my life. I wanted to express to you that life is precious and your mother seemed to have been blessed with such a loving family. Yes in time the pain will lessen, but the heart will always remain heavy from the weight of loss. You will learn to manage that with the love of your family and by surrounding yourself with everything life has to offer. My sisters have been my salvation. They are my strength. We have a bond that even death will never break. I see my parents in them everyday, whether in good or bad habits. LOL. It makes me smile. You will also one day be able to find comfort in the little reminders. Whether its her favorite food, her favorite flower, or her favorite saying, may it bring you a little bit of peace. - Willierose1175.9 #68 2-3-12 12:31AMLike Reply
Good morning Captain! I'm trying to keep my eyes open in a training class that started at 6am. Currently on break and class ends at 11. Hope you're having a wonderful day. - grumpypapa543.1 #207 1-25-12 9:23AMLike Reply
It was a cool idea in concept, but in real life it was terrible. Not adding banked turns ruined the entire experience due to having to slow way down to make a turn. That and the fact it was always breaking down sealed it's fate. I also despised the fact they took out 2 attractions to set it up. - shadowgamer1954.3 #37 1-19-12 7:41AMLike(4) Reply
In addition to this info...I've read that they looked into re-doing it in some form by putting more money into it...but would have to add ladders for emergency exits to get down off the platforms and Disney thought that would clutter up and ruin the look of Tomorrowland. Not sure how accurate this info is, but it does make sense for newer safety regulations. - ktkakes 325.2 #502 1-19-12 9:33PM
Sorry, but I gotta say I hated them. They also ruined two of my favorite attractions to put them in. Peoplemover(which I just got to ride at WDW still cool magnetron propulsion) and America the Beautiful circlevision 360 movie. - Boodad1272.4 #3367 1-20-12 12:30AMLike Reply
I went on them once! I have a vague memory of the ride, but I vividly remember the line. Of all my Disney memories from that visit, that line stands out. Lol - missbexx208.3 #1512 1-20-12 12:45AMLike Reply
