So sorry to hear this. When we took our good stroller (some 17 years ago!) I would tie a bunch of ribbons all over it so it would be a bit more obvious if it was taken. Which it never was. Most of the time we took the cheapie, but even th More...
Wow that really sucks I am very sorry for because I know how much a nice stroller like that cost. - HanLostLeia1092.5 #75 3-23-13 10:41AMLike Reply
That is horrible. Those are some real role models who stole that stroller. Just sad to involve your children in theft. - aidensmama336.3 #442 3-23-13 1:34PMLike Reply
The presentation included full color slides from the construction of Disneyland and then into some of the bygone rides and attractions up to about the 1970s. - bluefairy627.0 #174 3-22-13 8:04PMLike Reply
Afraid I didn't take any pictures as it was packed and I was waaaaay in the back. They had two "screens" (tvs) set up on either side of the stage, too bad they could use the one from Great Moments, but oh well. It was fascinating to see some of the in-progress pictures and getting some perspective on the construction. For example, the Chicken of the Sea restaurant (the pirate ship) was actually built behind where the opera house is now and then moved into place. The Mark Twain was built as two separate pieces, the hull at a shipyard and the rest in...Burbank! Fortunately, they fit together. I'm sure others will be able to add more info now that the 7pm show is out. - bluefairy 627.0 #174 3-22-13 9:08PM

I remember the keel boats! I loved them, but my mom was always worried I'd fall out.
I can't believe the Keel Boats were in service until 1997 and I never rode them!! Thanks for the pic and history. - Linzee515.2 #227 3-21-13 8:13AMLike Reply

I do remember this! In my teens it was an attraction we went on when we had our "Let's do every thing in the park" days! Yes, it was possible back then. As a kid, I do remember going with my parents, being a bit bored, but fascinated with More...
If I remember correctly the seats would deflate and shake a little to give the feeling of taking off. I thought this attraction was ok. It was a good place to sit for a while, especially in the summer when it was hot out. - DisneyGrandma336.3 #443 3-21-13 9:20AMLike(1) Reply
You are correct about the seats. - MyPark 943.6 #91 3-21-13 5:21PM
I never experienced this one. This has me wishing to see more "Tomorrow" in Tomorrow Land. More motivation for innovation. Time to visit Pizza Port for a tribute to this and the idea of tomorrow. Thank you for the history and video link too. - GrumpyPirateDad462.7 #263 3-21-13 10:14AMLike(1) Reply

I found them good. Way better than their Chedder Garlic twist. I haven't tried the Chocolate one. The best treat there is the Boysen Apple Freeze drink. That thing is really good. - RickChavez 2177.5 #30 3-19-13 12:58PM
