Depends on your budget: Carthday Circle in DCA is great, Napa Rose @ The Grand,, Steakhouse 55 @ DL Hotel. All great choices. - ShariRenee1578.2 #51 6-11-13 12:52PMLike Reply

I went to a wedding this weekend of two friends I met on MouseWait. I couldn't imagine not being a part of their special day or the shenanigans before and after. It's amazing to me how lifelong friendships have developed all because of a phone app. The community that has grown because of MouseWait is remarkable, but Mousewait is more then an app or website. It's a place where people with a common love of Disney can meet in real life or virtually. The giving, the RAKs, people doing special favors for others to only be paid by the thanks of the person gifted. I remember the first meet up, carrying around a laptop so a friend from Australia could join the fun. I remember when I first met LaceySue and heard her say "It's Coaster" when she recognized me. I remember the first two people I met because of MouseWait. Lots of awesome memories, lots of new friends. I just wanted to thank @Admin for having a dream and creating this wonderful place we call MouseWait. I also want to thank @MrsPrinceCharming for the support she gives him. This is a video that not many of you have seen. Created by Admin and shown at the 2011 Birthday. - Coaster9295.5 #1 6-4-13 12:42AMLike(18) Reply
Well said, Coaster. Although people have come & gone, I couldn't be more appreciative of the wonderful friends I have made through MW. The biggest of thanks to Admin for all his hard work, time, and effort as well as to MrsPC for the support she's given Admin. - LBChica 1560.6 #52 6-4-13 6:43AM
Bravo #1! So happy to know you and Lori! Hope to see you both soon! Thank YOU as well for all YOUR hard work keeping those wait times updated! - Duchess_SMK 3550.6 #10 6-4-13 9:06AM
thank you Coaster, I love this post that reminds us of how blessed we are to just chat on an app and meet so many people (if only online sometimes) that become friends and family. You are part of our family and you are such a wonderful positive influence on this site so thank you for you and your wife being great MouseWaiters and teaching us all how its done. And thanks of course Admin and MrsPrinceCharming and your whole family, for sharing your love of Disney with us and giving us all a place to share it with everyone else!! Love ya all!!! - secretagentangel710.8 #143 6-4-13 12:47AMLike(2) Reply
I love the video.. I am still very new to mousewait, but that video gave me goosebumps. My grandparents would put us up in the disneyland hotel, cousins, aunts, uncles... then my parents too carried on the tradition, it was our family vacation every year, and now we continue it with our kids. It was our first date as well :) .. When we lost my mother two years ago, where else did we take my father, but disneyland, he rode my mother's favorite rides just for her, it was such an amazing trip for healing... thank you for sharing!!! - JeanaLeigh5.6 #9808 6-12-13 2:14AMLike Reply
Its great to be reminded every once in a while how a lot of us were brought together by this app. Thanks Coaster! - djbreakdown567.1 #200 6-12-13 9:33AMLike Reply
That the DCA entrance was modeled after the Pan Pacific Auditorium? - Coaster9295.5 #1 5-26-13 10:13PMLike Reply
Yes. Here is an excerpt from the Disney Blog entitled "New Turnstiles Open at Disney California Adventure Park Today" posted on July 15th, 2011 by Erin Glover, Manager, Social Media and Print, Disneyland Resort... One of the principal architects on the Pan Pacific Auditorium, Welton Becket, was a neighbor of Walt Disney’s and went on to become very influential in future Disney projects. It was Becket who suggested to Walt that he use his own artists – not an architectural firm – to design, plan and build Disneyland, and it was this advice that led to the creation of WED Enterprises (now Walt Disney Imagineering). Later, Welton Becket Associates (formed in 1949 after Walter Wurdeman’s death) designed Disney’s Contemporary Hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort, though Becket himself did not live to see it completed. - Boundin 428.1 #299 5-26-13 11:52PM
You can actually order any item off the Napa menu. If you are going to sit at the counter you should let your Chef choose your meal. 5 courses based on your preferences. $90 as previously mentioned.
I went there in Feb. The dinner was amazing but very expensive. As a one time thing it was nice but next time we are going to do a regular dinning there. The dinner was $100 per person & the wine pairing was another $90 per person. - Catmom9183.9 #1855 4-18-13 2:31PMLike Reply

Make your reservations in advance. I suggest you call now. There are only 2 seatings for the chef's experience--530pm and 8pm. Hope you get in! - karidaluv38.4 #4118 4-19-13 2:06PMLike Reply
it's 2 hours or the return time which ever is shorter.
RSR is disconnected from the FP system. It says on the FP you can hold another one at the same time. You do not have to wait like you do with the others. - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper346.4 #435 4-18-13 12:04PMLike(2) Reply
I just bumped a picture of the FP so you could check it out. - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper 346.4 #435 4-18-13 12:12PM
It depends. If your return window is at least two hours after the time you got your RSR fast pass, you could possibly get another fast pass prior to your RSR return time. For example, if you got there at 8:30am and the RSR return time was at 3:00 PM, you could get another FP at 10:30am for another attraction at DCA (Tower of Terror, etc.), and if that fast pass return window is at noon, you are good to go. You just have to wait at least two hours from getting the first pass to the second pass, and so on. Clear as mud? - Alicewhoareyou543.9 #213 4-18-13 10:55AMLike(1) Reply
If you're thinking about early AP entry, last Sunday the 14th was the last day.

Indy was down for over an hour and many guests with fastpasses came back all at once, backing up the entire queue inside to the entrance on the temple. It took a little while to get the line back to normal. I hope you were still able to go on a little later though! - paintedflowers289.5 #7075 3-27-13 11:22PMLike(2) Reply

Just wanted to add that you're more then welcome to ask questions from any of the Chef's about about what and how they are preparing dishes. When we got there we saw them preparing beef tenderloins and racks of lamb. Admin was amazed at how they could tell doneness by look and feel, no thermometers are used here. The other great thing about sitting at the right station is that you also right in front of where all the yummy desserts are prepared and the freezer with all the sorbets and ice cream. - Coaster9295.5 #1 3-27-13 3:29PMLike(4) Reply
Great post Coaster! Thanks for treating us to this incredible experience -- the food was unreal, I tried things that I'd never had before, everything was layered with out-of-this-world flavor, and seeing them run the kitchen was like watching a Food Network show. The best part was getting to hang out with you and Lori. THANK YOU! - AdminLike(4) Reply
Admin had it last night at the Chef's Counter. First time he's had duck. He really enjoyed it.
It's just a bit disheartening to have this AND the cute Disney duck family on the same page! **Cue The Circle of Life music** ; ) - Sweet_Irish_Cream2710.4 #19 3-26-13 9:44PMLike(4) Reply

Chef's Counter at Napa Rose. Great food of Napa and truly unique experience of sitting in front of kitchen. Have your Chef design your dinner for you for a truly one of a kind dining experience.
The atmosphere of the Blue Bayou is AMAZING! I'm pretty sure its the most relaxing place to eat in the parks and its hooked me! You also get a great view of the ride, the sound of crickets, shooting star over head and its all dark and cool with beautiful lights!! : ) If you haven't done it, I would suggest doing Blue Bayou over Napa, for the Magical Disney experience alone. Napa is great, but you can find hundreds of great restaurants just like it in the world....BB is really unique and an experience I don't think ether of you will forget! And then when you go on the ride, it will be even more special. : ) - Sweet_Irish_Cream2710.4 #19 3-18-13 1:43PMLike(6) Reply
I agree with this! If you have never done Blue Bayou it is a great experience. It was a bucket list item for me. Now that I have done it I think I would choose something else. It really depends on what you are looking for. - AKMouse 376.7 #372 3-18-13 1:49PM
If you do this, when checking in for your reservation, ask for a table by the water. Whatever the extra time they tell you it will be, it's usually less. Oh, and worth it. - Tom 4013.8 #7 3-18-13 1:52PM
