Disappointing that they're charging for Christmas... But, I don't really like the Christmas parade, and I LOVE Soundsational and the Remember show, so I guess there's a silver lining for me. They'll have Christmas WOC, too, right?
This truly breaks my heart. Growing up I myself didn't get to experience many xmas because our family grew up poor.As an adult with kids going to the park at xmas time and watching the parade and fireworks had become a family tradition.we love experience it over and over again. The magic look on my kids faces was priceless and true I could buy a ticket it would be expensive on a family of 4 or to anyone and no guarantee parades or fireworks would perform as they can be cancelled at anytime or for any reason. I understand Disney is a business but xmas time is one of the busiest time of the year ,but how is it going to be to parks guest to leave early during a busy season as well. to me this is really sad news to hear and do not think voicing our concerns to Disney may help. any thoughts on this ? - pikarich616.2 #177 5-24-13 12:14AMLike(25) Reply

I agree, it really pisses me off. its taking away a lot of the magic of the holidays and just walking around the park at night and enjoying the music and atmosphere. So now they will probably have an inflatable tree they can take down for in time. And there goes closing the parks out for that time. I don't miss them--the new entrance with BVS in the background is a more meaningful theme, and it all looks more refined! I found the letters kinda tacky, lol, but I know they were fun for many people. :)

This is so true hosting a adorable little girl dressed as Minnie to the top of the L I saw one day... I couldn't leave till they got her down! Of course that was frightening too as the super tall father used his other older daughter on his shoulders to get her on and off! It was like I was glued in place but shock and fear and hardly believing a family was working to accomplish this! I couldn't stop watching thank goodness little Minnie got down safe... But good gracious where were any of those "parental instincts" when they came up with that frightening idea...
