there is a Walmart on ball a few blocks east of harbor, a target on harbor about 1 mile north and one about 4? Miles south on harbor and chapman and there might be an REI or big 5 in one of those centers. I know target and Walmart do ship to store, sometimes next day so see if you can buy online and ship. I think they hold orders for a few days. - secretagentangel 1303.1 #103 11-30-14 6:23PMLikeReply
Thank you! We will check Walmart! I looked all over in AZ and no one had any. I thought we would have luck out here. After the horrible drive today we will just look tomorrow. Normally takes us 6 hours to get to DLR but so far today we are at 8 hours. Traffic has been awful! - luvmygreenarmyman 254.5 #1198 11-30-14 6:58PMLikeReply
Look up applescooters.com. You can rent from there. Much cheaper than the park. I think $75 for 3 days. And they drop off and pick up from your hotel. It's a great service. As for the handicap service, go to city hall. Have a great trip.& More...
I don't know and don't have an answer for you, but make sure he's careful around the curbs on Main Street. I saw a guy fall off his scooter from a curb. He was OK but it took a few if us to get him back on. - philliprocks 903.1 #171 11-17-14 10:58AMLikeReply
They are for rent just to the right of the park entrance. I don't remember the price. There is a deposit. If you are going to be there for multiple days, it's cheaper and better to rent from an outside vendor. You can't take the scooters outside of the security lines. They are changing a lot of the process around on the 20th. So nobody knows completely. I would doubt the current wheelchair rules will change. Your party goes to the ride you want to go on with ALL the tickets/passes of your party. They will issue you a return time so you can come back instead of waiting in the line. I would stop by City Hall or Chamber of Commerce when you get there to ask and get directions. I believe they even have a special map with instructions. - DLKenCA 1741.9 #76 11-17-14 10:59AMLikeReply
You may be able to arrange for a scooter through the hotel you're staying at - chancesr 241.0 #1356 11-17-14 1:57PMLikeReply
A friend with a heart condition told me his scooter got at flat DL once. They would not change the tire cos it was not DL's scooter. If it had been, they would have fixed it. Rental scooters all are rented out early in the day. - MsTikiMermadam 6.7 #12537 11-17-14 2:15PMLikeReply

I've been in bugs theatre lots of times. I never noticed the dung ball before. I was looking at it the last time and I was touching it too. The CM walks up to my group and says, does he know that's a dung ball. They all stared laughing at me. And yes, I knew it was a dung ball, but I never noticed it. - fantasmicfan02 51.0 #4358 10-5-14 6:58PMLikeReply
I went once this past trip and got soaked. My sons used the single rider and rode it several times. I have to really push myself to go on this ride. The drop scares me. - Dizkid 353.7 #590 8-3-14 4:03PMLikeReply
Going on a Sunday in two weeks. We never go in the summer cuz I hate the heat, but this being the last year of our passes, I am going to make the most of it. - LuvsTigger 917.6 #167 5-27-14 4:22PMLikeReply
Non swinging for sure. Although one time we were going to try swinging and my son said he ate to much cotton candy and his tummy was sick. Thanks! son. - keepmovingforward 125.1 #2964 5-27-14 10:00AMLikeReply
Did swinging yesterday. If you must risk your life, might as well make it worth the risk! - DLKenCA 1741.9 #76 5-27-14 10:07AMLikeReply

It's still amazing that the jumping fish effect still works in this area. Yes folks, those were part of the ride effects and aren't real fish jumping, sorry to ruin it for you. - CM_Shadowgamer 2373.7 #48 4-14-14 3:22PMLikeReply
Wasn't there also a mule train ride in that area? I think my sister and I rode that on our first visit, back in the 70s. - redsoxcarlos 1190.4 #119 4-14-14 3:31PMLikeReply
My wife and I did this. We didn't feel guilty at all until we got there and played all day. Then we felt horrible. Then we went to DTD and forgot all about them again 😄👍 - Disneyfreak111 479.7 #383 4-4-14 5:01PMLikeReply
The carathay theater was good. But I love the Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney. Also the Blue Bayou is good too. For a special day like that ask for a water front table. You might wait a little longer but I think it's worth it :) - tinkerbellgirl98 150.1 #2574 12-30-13 2:11AMLikeReply
