No, you cannot upgrade a comp or promotional ticket towards an AP - BaseballMickey_CM2828.4 #16 11-7-12 1:07PMLike Reply
It's not really a comp. We collect these airmiles and exchange the points for products or services that are available on their program. Does that change anything? - Wizard 81.6 #3255 11-7-12 1:11PM
You prob won't know until you get to the parks and they scan the ticket to see if a price comes up or not... That's what I would assume has to happen - brodysmommy 243.7 #1062 11-7-12 1:29PM

This would have NEVER been able to happen with Michael Eisner as CEO. Lucas has said he is done, he knows that the company will be in good hands with Disney...Great partnership IMO - Dave 8637.0 #2 10-30-12 1:31PMLike(17) Reply
Absolutely, can't wait to see what implications this will have on the parks. - MightyWhitey 648.3 #165 10-30-12 1:35PM

Tip: to get less fricition and move your tire faster, tip the tire left and right really fast and your tire will get more air underneath, making the tire move a little faster - BaseballMickey_CM2828.4 #16 6-13-12 11:07AMLike(8) Reply
Omg, hahaha! I totally know what you mean, I was wearing my Cars skirt the day I went on that attraction. It was no big deal for me thou cus I was wearing shorts underneath, actually I usually wear skirts or dresses and ALWAYS wear shorts underneath to the parks. :) - StarWarsLove402.5 #326 6-13-12 2:06PMLike Reply

Aw, sorry to hear that. I've had a similar situation happen.. try calling back again and hopefully someone can properly assist you. If it's not resolved within the next few days - file a complaint (3 weeks is a long time!) - Jacqueline546.7 #205 6-13-12 7:19AMLike Reply
I would call and talk to a supervisor and explain the situation. It should have been in your account within a couple of days not weeks. - JenInWonderland1025.1 #86 6-13-12 7:29AMLike Reply
I would bring a reusable water bottle with filter. It'll save you a lot of money and also keep your family and you hydrated without spending a ton of money. Stay thirsty, my friends! - EpicDio381.7 #354 6-13-12 10:25AMLike Reply
Anyone know the story of the man, the boy, and the donkey??? 😁
When my step son first had his kidney transplant we would take the portable dvd player with us and let me tell you it was awesome to have something to keep his attention and mind off of the issues at hand(the illness). It isn't any different than hand held video games or for that matter an adult playing with their SMART phones while in line..something to keep them entertained...count how many people are playing with their phones instead of interacting with the group they are with next time you are in the parks...just something to think about. - yellowtonka237.7 #1136 5-16-12 12:38AMLike(28) Reply
very wise tonka, I didn't think about it that way. It also goes with the theme of judging people.... you don't know if they have special needs and what they are doing might be theraputic to their needs. Because of this app I've been reminded not to judge a book by it's cover. - DuffysJuju 627.4 #173 5-16-12 9:42AM

It's a decent place to stay. The pool deck is awesome for watching the fireworks.
I have never personally stayed there but I highly doubt the rooms are horrible. One it's Disney and they have a a high standard and two I see a lot of MWs on here saying a lot of good things. It's hard to hold a trip advisor review as the standard, some people have ridiculous expectations and give a bad review even though it probably had a lot to do with their attitude. I say go for it! See it as an adventure, a chance to see a new part of Disney and take advantage of the views! Hope you have a wonderful stay! - LisaMouse7531409.1 #317 5-8-12 9:13AMLike(2) Reply

We've stayed at Paradise Pier many times & love it. It's definitely not The Grand, but still a great hotel. We're booked there again in September for Half Marathon Weekend. I hope you enjoy your stay - VikkiMouse182.2 #1834 5-8-12 9:56AMLike Reply

I ate the good, the bad, and the ugly at DL. I still lost 6 lbs. I read the average guest walks 10 miles a day.
you should check out the chub 33 section of mw!! a lot of us are on WW. I just joined about a month ago and have found eating at the park fairly easy. There are a lot of no point options at the fruit carts and you are able to get vegetable skewars at bengal bbq, and for actual meals i'll try to get a salad or if i do get a sandwich i'll take off the top bread. some points i've found/calculated, churro is 6 pts, dole whip is 1pt, float is 3. - JenInWonderland1025.1 #86 5-4-12 5:59PMLike(4) Reply

I'd bring snacks that you eat throughout the day, you'll be least likely to be tempted if you stay full, and drink lots of water. A low sodium beef jerky is what I like to snack on! - madsdad1124.3 #73 5-4-12 5:55PMLike(1) Reply

I have two thoughts on this. One, it takes your body three days to notice a change in your habits so if you go enjoy your trip and come home and go strict back on your plan you will be fine. With that said, if you aren't far enough along, three days can take you out of your routine making it harder to get back to basics. If that is where you are at, just remember to count your points, eat smart and for the love don't beat yourself up. The biggest mistake you can make is to self destruct. Enjoy your trip and stay mentally strong so that no matter what you are right back on track. - DlandDude259.7 #911 5-6-12 7:21PMLike Reply

Oh I have a question for you sir. When using this app on an iPad, how does one set it to go back to the hub? It always seems to default to Disneyland talk. - Butterlina 1307.8 #62 5-1-12 6:45PM
I recommend Camera+ for an excellent app. The Gorilla Pod for a phone tripod. Combine those with an Olloclip and you have yourself an amazing setup!
I like using camera 360 or retro camera because of the effects they have for your pictures. As for phone tripods, I don't know much about that. Hopefully another MWer can help you on that subject. - SorcererD91476.1 #251 4-30-12 2:18AMLike Reply
