I went to tell my mom Happy Mother's day, as for some Latinos celebrate it today, and saw she was crying because she kinda had a bad day. I laid down with her and gave her a present, it was the Thumper vinylmation topper with animation #3 (she loves thumper). She had stopped crying then and was distracted with trying to open to see what other vinylmation she got (Ludwig von drake) and I had her smiling again. While its a great thought to turn Sleeping Beauty Castle larger I see it as an unfeasible thing to do. The space in that area is at a premium, and while our castle is small it is the original of all the parks. If I wanted to see a larger Sleeping Beauty Castle I would travel to Disneyland Paris. If you hit reply on your first post it will post below my response. :) While I understand that Disneyland was built upon the idea that it should be ever changing, I feel as though some unnecessary changes have been made, such as the removal of Carnation Plaza Gardens to create a new princess space. When I was there in 2012 I quite enjoyed the large stage with the princess shows as well as the meet and greet which was set up next to it. That being said if they can find a way to bring swing dancing back to its rightful home my grievances will be rectified. I consider Disneyland to be my home because I can still imagine Walt walking the park and being pleased with most of the things that have happened since his passing but there are some things that I believe shouldn't be touched and the castle is one of them because when I look at it I see Walt standing under its archway and I'm finally at peace because I'm home. - letsrckthis 161.5 #2129 4-5-13 7:03AM

I too love walking around the park and seeing in my mind the places Walt himself envisioned and created and that he and Lilian loved and enjoyed. I don't want it to change so much that they completely take Walt out and we don't see his actual creations anymore.
