My husband and I willbe there in Halloween (it's our anniversary as well). Costume ideas haven't really even started yet. :/
I can't decide if I want to go as Aurora and deal with a poofy dress in my wheelchair, or as Rogue from x-men and have to work out for these next few months to wear spandex!😝 votes please!!! - PrincessDaisy_FU2Rcm 341.1 #701 8-24-14 10:18AMLikeReply

I say make the drive. We made the drive, and more than likely will be skipping Space. I amnot a huge fan of the overlay We have had a wonderful time.:)
Some of my best trips were when I was pregnant and unable to go on the 'big' rides. For me it's more about the experience than the thrill. Catch some shows, enjoy amazing food, people watch, and appreciate all of the little details that make Disneyland such a magical experience. Use it as an opportunity to try something new you haven't done before, I bet you can have just as much fun as usual, even without those two attractions. 😊 - Geekery 409.4 #547 11-3-13 4:06PMLike(2)Reply

It was a lottery. Over 100 members put their names in and only 15 members were choosen. They were allowed to bring one guest with them. So only 30 people. I know half of the people who attended. - 33Wonderland 65.1 #4288 3-23-13 9:39PMLike(2)Reply
This is amazing! I love MW and being able to see pics and hear about these awesome events that are nothing I'll experience; it's fun knowing people who do and hearing all about it! Thanks for sharing and can't wait for the Kurt Russell report! - TinkerSchelle 1981.1 #82 3-23-13 11:18PMLikeReply

If there is somewhere specific you want to eat, the dining folks can get you in contact with the chef at that location. They will work with you. I always give them my reservation info when I go over dietary needs. :)

Try searching for Vegan foods here. I tried the cranberry salad about two weeks ago at Paradise Garden Grill and it was delicious. Memorial day 1999. Spent all day at the park with our friends. That evening we walked off alone because he said he wanted to buy me one of those light up roses. We started to walk back to where our friends were and we stopped in front of the castle. Before I knew what was happening he had a ring out and asked me to marry him. What made the moment even more special was as soon as I said yes I looked up and saw all of our friends there clapping and cheering. Then I looked the other direction and I saw my parents who had driven up that evening just to be there for that special moment. That was one of the best moments of my life. ❤ - dznechick 26.1 #6397 7-30-12 9:20PMLike(2)Reply

The Royal Street Veranda in New Orleans Square has an amazing veggie gumbo that is actually vegan!!! The Hungry Bear Restaurant has a fried green tomato sandwich (not vegan- it has dairy). DCA has tofu rice bowls at the Chinese restaurant by the pier and the Greek place by Goofy's Sky School has tofu and veggie kabobs. Scar, he's probably one of the greatest Disney villains. He kills his brother and attempts to kill his nephew all for the throne, takes the queen, and turns the pride lands into a wasteland all to bring himself more power. Yep. - CM_LionGeek 352.9 #668 5-8-12 3:09PMLike(3)Reply
