If you still have the receipt, go back to the store and see what they say. My daughter lost a bracelet from Pieces of 8 and they gave her a new one with the receipt. At least it's worth a try.
Definitely Contact Lost & Found 714-817-2166. You can call in and report it also if you are not at the park. If found they will even mail to you. They find a lot of stuff. The CMs walk the track every night. So if it fell off on the ride they will probably find it. - DLKenCA 2728.7 #51 12-19-15 9:56PMLike(5)Reply
My son lost his lanyard with lots of new pins on that ride. We reported it at lost and found. It was found at the end of the day and they packaged it up to send it back to us in the UK. Disney are very good at that sort of thing. - beentoall 814.9 #0 12-19-15 11:28PMLike(2)Reply

My daughter just finished 7 months in the Disneyland College Program so I bought an AP and visited her at least 6 times. We ALWAYS ate at Big Thunder Ranch BBQ every visit and often took friends and family members and they all LOVED it! For about $30 (adult price) you got all you could eat chicken, ribs, sausage, corn on the cob, beans, corn bread, and drinks. We often would add the skillet chocolate chip cookie with ice cream or s'mores bake. We will not only miss the food, but I think we will also miss...Miss Chris and Tex Tumbleweed :( I hope they move this somewhere else). - cherylabq 18.8 #7783 8-25-15 9:24PMLikeReply

I think CircleVision was very under appreciated! It was a great place to go in Tomorrowland and watch a great little movie surrounded in a 360 degree theater. I remember you could see the movie about the US during the morning and through the mid to late afternoon when the movie would switch to a film about China... It was one of my most favorite attractions ever; when I was younger, the screens so gigantic and all encompassing. It was my first ever experience with an IMAX movie and it was also very cool in the summer when the weather could get really hot. The only drawback to me was that people had to stand - because of my inability to stand for long periods due to the nature of my disability, I was always in a stroller or wheelchair, so it was pretty easy to experience. I could even go by myself when I was a teenager so I could be dropped off to watch while everyone else stood in line and went on Space Mountain. I so wish they could bring it back! 😁 - Catski23 22.7 #7049 6-4-15 7:48AMLike(4)Reply

My dad. I will always remember him taking us to DL and seeing him enjoy it as much as my brothers and I did. I always wanted to sit next to him on POTC not only because it was his favorite and I liked seeing him laugh, but also because I was a little scared at the end where the wood is all burned and the chair is about to fall on you. He always held me in that part. Now when I go on it with my boys my wife knows that they have to sit next to me so I can hold them. I just took my 2 year old to Disney World. We ate at 3 character dining restaurants and met multiple characters but he wouldn't go near any of them like my big girl did. It wasn't until our final day that he hugged Pooh! I would suggest trying as much as he'll let you. If he's terrified then he obviously might not get over that during your trip but he should be less and less fearful with each one he meets. Hold him standing next to the character! Ease into it! Have fun! - MamalovesMinnie 23.7 #6885 2-11-15 8:13AMLikeReply
My granddaughter is 2 1/2 now and is finally wanting to approach the characters. Up until last week she was only willing to look at them from a distance. I suggest just letting your little go at his/her own pace, just whatever they're comfortable with. - DisneyGrandma 880.9 #211 2-11-15 8:21AMLikeReply
My husband was worried our daughter would be afraid on our first trip when she was about 20 months (she was scared to death of the Chick Fil A cow for a while). She loved them though and gave kisses to everyone. I think it was because we watched all the cartoons and movies. So she saw her shows coming to life. I would suggest watching as many disney things as you can. My niece was terrified her first time though but she didn't watch them as much. The characters are really good about keeping their distance if they know someone is afraid. - warchanted 171.4 #2416 2-11-15 9:38AMLikeReply

Thank you everyone. We usually drive but since it's just my daughter and I we are flying. I did the DL express because it was cheaper than super shuttle, yet I should have read reviews first :( hoping it's a smooth trip - krm71408 7.2 #14151 2-9-15 9:14PMLikeReply
They do drop off directly at the DL resort hotels however all the other hotels they drop you off at different locations. I was just wondering of a stop was near the Tropicana , because if not it's going to be a long day with my daughter lol. She can walk all day around DL but as soon as we go to leave all of a sudden she's tired and can't walk. I love my crazy girl - krm71408 7.2 #14151 2-9-15 10:55PMLikeReply
Yes, I look forward to this every year. I just booked my hotel & now for plane tickets. This will be the 3rd reunion I've attended & I look forward to them every year. Will there be crowds, I sure hope there are crowds of people attending the reunion because I wouldn't want it any other way. Myself & others are blocked that weekend but that doesn't matter to me or some others because we come for the company & the enjoyment of being with our extended MW family. Unfortunately this can't be made to fit everyones scheduled & never will but with a positive attitude it will be a great time & possibly the best time you've had in a long time. - UTDISNEYFAMILY 2002.4 #86 2-5-15 2:52PMLike(12)Reply
This is the best date as May is booked up with anniversary, spring breaks, and grad nights. April has spring breaks all month, and Easter and a convention on most weekends. There really isn't a non busy time this year to do parties. And the party is usually close by so you do not have to go to the park to get in so no blockout on reunion itself! It will be great to see all of you there!! - secretagentangel 5757.4 #22 2-5-15 1:48PMLike(4)Reply

Honestly this measles and disneyland thing is giving me a headache. I have friends telling me I shouldnt be going and I better becareful and blah blah blah...this can happen anywhere. It all boils down to...people need to take proper care of themselves and get children vaccinated. The ride closures are necessary to ensure that rides are properly maintained so that they don't break down throughout the year. There are still plenty of things to do and plenty more attractions to ride. Paying customers can also check the Disneyland website in advance of their trip and see what attractions are closed so they can chose when they want to visit. - thatgirljenn 1788.1 #98 1-18-15 9:24AMLike(13)Reply
I think we often forget how many people only are able to visit DL once in their whole lives. I agree that it would be a huge disappointment if you had saved, booked, and paid for a DL vacation before these were all announced (some people have to plan years in advance to make a DL vacay possible, long before closures are announced). Refurbs are a given this time of year, and they are necessary for safety, but it does seem like a whole lot of things are closed. I guess the best advice to people traveling would be to book during the high season to avoid refurbs. - Spoonful_O_Sugar 622.1 #337 1-18-15 9:42AMLike(6)Reply
I would be upset as well if I had not known about all the referbs prior but that's why it pays to research before planning trips. But then again there are always going to be things that don't go as planned. - luxkitty 3954.2 #38 1-18-15 2:34PMLikeReply
Disney is always changing and rumor always fly around the net so we call them rumors until confirmed by disney, but are far as the matter horn it is only said that regular maintenance is being done but strong rumor support that it may get some new effects and lights and possible upgrade on Haroldand the one everyone Iis wanted to be true is the structure support re added to have a Christmas star put back on top of the matter horn which did happen in the early years of disney. As far as a utopia it does have the biggest land as well as Nemoto make a whole new land. At this point and time there Iis no 100% assurance what may become of this ride, maybe re themed or replaced or upgraded, maybe at some layer time we may know for sure - pikarich 5792.9 #21 1-13-15 7:27PMLike(1)Reply
We get one almost every trip and well worth it. The photographers will take plenty of extra pictures and poses with you. It seems like they take a little extra time with you when they know you have the "plus" card.
Definitely worth it! Get the most out of it by having lots of pictures taken. And if you have reservations for Goofy's Kitchen or Ariel's Grotto, your pictures will be included from there, as well. (And no limit. So if you go both places, or more than once to ether place, all hard copies and digital pix are included!). When you get home, be sure to take the time to add different frames to your pix and save them in the different sizes (4x6, 5x7, 8x10) so you don't lose your frames when you have them printed out inexpensively at Costco! - MeridaFan 4243.8 #36 1-13-15 1:43PMLike(2)Reply
Totally worth it, but a lot depends on how well you utilize the service. Be sure to use your photo pass at attractions that take pictures. Look for photographers at character meet and greets and at scenic photo spots in the parks. Most photographers are willing to take shots with your personal camera too. Once you are home be sure to upload your personal photo to the photo pass site. On that site you will have access to lots of free borders and embellishments to create multiple versions of your favorite shots. I think I nearly quadrupled the number of original photos I uploaded. There are also lots of products buy to create albums, calendars, cups etc... I hope this is helpful. Enjoy and have a wonderful visit! - DreadPiratesRogers 852.9 #220 1-13-15 1:46PMLike(2)Reply
