When I was little I had a doll like this- one side was the Big Bad Wolf and the other side was the grandma. I loved it. Made it nice to play with because it was 2 in one.

I love these early animations. I noticed the animators worked on synchronizing the music and sounds with the animation. This was such a new medium at the time and animators were often in unknown territories of drawing, art, and music. It's so cool to see how this developed into what became Disney animation. From what i read, it marks a turning point in animation style. Beforehand, characters would start & stop almost mechanically. Norm Ferguson (one of the animators) developed a style where the characters never completely stopped, but when one part would stop another part would start moving, making the whole movement much more fluid. Did you know that the actual Tower is one of the tallest buildings in Anaheim? Also, because of its height, it would have required a light on top for the pilots flying over if the height went over 200 feet.
