I agree with everything you said. It seems like the crowds over there don't know how special this parade is. - BaseballMickey_CM2796.2 #16 4-20-13 11:23PMLike Reply
Unless they talk to me before hand then they have no clue. But I have seen others get into it. I work there right on th parade route and you should see how excited I get for Elliot every night. :) - cooldisgrl_CM127.0 #2611 4-21-13 6:17AMLike Reply
Awesome RAK! I would love to have the Jungle Cruise! I could see it now all tropical and cool in AZ. And the cruise ends at Trader Sams for tiki drinks. Think about that meet up. Thank you! - AZDisney242.6 #1074 4-17-13 10:09PMLike(1) Reply
I dont think we've ever entered through the left tunnel before. We always go in right and exit the left. Definitely going to do this next time. Thanks! - azbellatink241.0 #1096 4-11-13 8:22PMLike Reply
Pretty please add me. My favorite Disney park moment was last year when my 6 year old was tall enough to ride CA screamin....asked him afterwards if he liked it...he said "Yep, i didn't fall out!"
This is beyond beautiful!!! Sadly I cannot enter since I don't meet your qualifications but good luck to those who can! That's an amazing watch, coming from a watch nerd! :) - ibsleepingbeauty1231.3 #4301 2-11-13 9:26PMLike(1) Reply
Wow! Amazing RAK! Please add me. My favorite moment in the park was when a CM blessed my daughter and her BFF, who were both celebrating their 16th birthdays, with a private Jungle Cruise. We got all the way to Trader Sam and the ride stalled. After sitting for 10 minutes listening to head hunter jokes, the CMs were instructed to return all boats to the dock in reverse so we got to do the Jungle Cruise backwards! That was a new one for us! - chantelrj243.6 #1060 2-11-13 9:57PMLike(1) Reply
We always stay at The Castle Inn. Usually find better rates through Getawaytoday. 3rd or 4th night free on some deals.
Don't shoot me here (HoJo is a popular choice, good rate with MW discount and nice rooms), but for location I'd stay at Best Western Park Place Inn. I found the room clean, safe, comfortable, and it included a refrigerator. And...walk right across the street to the front gates. :) - Alicewhoareyou535.8 #209 7-26-12 8:01PMLike(6) Reply
HoJo is a popular place, never stayed there but everyone says its great. We have stayed several times at Anaheim Fairfield Inn. McDonald's is in front of it and Mimi's cafe is next to it. You walk to the corner, there's the entrance to Disneyland. On the 2nd floor is pizza hut too... - babebahn197.0 #1666 7-26-12 8:03PMLike(1) Reply
All the Wyndham Brands are nice! They have a promo if you stay more than 2-3 days! I will say the HoJo, Ramada, Days Inn and Travelodge! I will go for Super 8 if you just really want a Bed, Shower and Storage! (They don't have a Microwave or Fridge, but you can ask for it I guess), Travelodge is nice but it is close to the Convention Center... Days Inn is average and they have a shuttle service from their area! HoJo is the MW choice for hotel, and i Love the Keurig Coffee Maker! Ramada Plaza is more expensive but they have full breakfast.... but all in all, i will go for Super 8 for Bed, shower and storage! - otilegna842.5 #107 8-16-12 5:44PMLike Reply
Also check out the actual hotels websites. I was looking on Expedia for a hotel for dapper day and found the hotel ménage for $99. Then looked on their page and found out if you advance purchase the room you get a great deal. $86. But you have to advance purchase it 14 days or more our and pay for it right then. And it is non cancel able. So check the actual hotel websites. I noticed that advance purchase can happen at 14 days at some hotels and at 21 days for others. Just do research! - ImAlwaysCrazy646.4 #166 8-16-12 5:46PMLike Reply

Thanks for the info! Also when my son got his Eagle I called DL and WDW and both sent an amazing care package and a signed picture of Mickey with a very nice letter, a honorary citizen of DL award, a key to DL and letters from corp. I cried when he got those!! They really went out of their way for him and it means so much to us!! - adisneyfamily470.9 #256 7-21-12 10:59PMLike(1) Reply
Pretty please add me and thank you. My boys can not wait to see Carsland but it won't be until February. We were there this last February and they wanted to peek over the walls so bad. We love Disney music in the car. We're excited to More...

Tatum randomly choose a name from a pirate bowl and picked JennAnnwho who entered for princess Kristin and I did look around yesterday and they had very few left in certain stores. If I can I'll try to get another one for someone else who entered. - MarshaMouse2834.6 #15 7-8-12 1:39PMLike Reply

You can get tickets only on getawaytoday.com. just click the ticket only tab at the top.
Do you get in free? If not I think you can usually buy tickets on base. And they are way cheaper there. Maybe your brother could buy them and then mail them to you. But I don't know if the base in Texas would have Disneyland tickets. I would help you if I could. - Flyingtoneverland188.1 #1766 7-2-12 3:56PMLike Reply
I was under the understanding that the person who purchased the tickets has to be there with you to activate the tickets. Did I miss understand? If so, this may help me immensely come September! - DizGeek453.3 #270 7-2-12 5:40PMLike Reply
The tickets on getaway today are really not any cheaper than on Disneyland.com. - Pudgeman367.5 #376 7-2-12 7:45PMLike Reply
We have bought the $99 military tickets multiple times so I can help you. When you buy the ticket on base they put the person that buys it(w/ ID) name on it. Then when going through the gate, they check for that person's ID. We have used these tickets 4 times as recently as 2 weeks ago and they have check that ID every time for the first use. Even last time, my sister was using it. My parents had bought the ticket with their retired ID so it had their last name, my sister showed her paper and her husband showed his active duty ID and they would not let them in. My parents had to walk back and show their ID with their last name. My husband(retired) bought for his family and had to show his ID on entrance. We bought for friends and same thing. We have only had to show ID initially, after that they never asked. - emnldsmom189.3 #1753 7-2-12 11:43PMLike Reply
