My sister in law always takes her stroller and has never had an issue! She usually ties some brightly colored ribbon to the handle so that she can easily find hers in a crowd when we are done with a ride. - Belleslibrary335.6 #596 3-1-13 4:07PMLike(1)Reply
Honestly the only strollers I've ever had stolen were the ones I rented from the park. It usually happened at night . But I learned after the first time to keep my receipt in my wallet and not in the stroller and it was always replaced free of charge. We buy a Mickey balloon and tie it to the stroller so it's easier to identify as ours . When my kids were very little I always took my own stroller cuz I'm a germ a phob , and no one ever messed with it . - eviljules463.1 #355 3-2-13 10:54AMLikeReply
Was there to celebrate my daughters 1st birthday, someone stole her mcclaren trimuph stroller with her happy first birthday Disney pin on the front seat. Nothing at all in the stroller of value- water bottle and nursing cape. We went back four times to Mater ride to see if someone put it back throughout the night but there was just the same cheap umbrella stroller left in the place of ours. I guess some felt they should trade up. The Disney staff kept telling me how nice I was being that usually people yell at them. I said it wasn't their fault but because it was my daughters first birthday- I just wanted to cry. It was also parked right next to the entrance where it was supposed to be. So sad. I think I was more upset about the fact someone stole it than it was actually gone. I mean, it had her birthday pin with her name on the front, my sons name written on the top of the canopy and a nursing cape layed into the fold of the canopy. The staff kept telling me , maybe someone mistook it. Hahaa! They knew what they were doing. At least they were kind enough to leave behind their stroller for us. Kids were happy but ruined the night for my husband and me. We have been pass holders for three years- we were always aware this could happen but always had positive experiences. Cast members were very helpful and sweet though. - Ihavedisneykids3.0 #39942 3-23-13 8:40AMLikeReply
A couple of weeks ago, Jollyroger5 and I asked a CM about possible future plans for Autopia. He said that a contract was just signed with Honda to install new motors, since the current ones are about 14 years old. Perhaps this is why it's closed? - JRDrummer_CM875.4 #149 2-27-13 11:34AMLike(5)Reply

Eh... I've pretty much come to terms with this for 3 reasons: 1)I have faith that it will be well done, 2) Disneyland is constantly growing and changing and this is just one more thing, and 3) It's not like the presence of major corporate partners isn't evident all over the parks. In fact, the park probably wouldn't exist without these partnerships. - JustCantWait1052.6 #118 2-17-13 3:41PMLike(5)Reply

Welcome to MouseWait. Please read the FAQ. Holiday season, especially this close to Christmas, is extremely busy in the parks and that particular attraction is very popular. You do have the option of the Single Rider line which may be a faster wait time. But I would expect long waits for the popular attractions. - MyPark1067.1 #115 12-22-12 4:01PMLike(7)Reply

Everybody starts off wrong, but some people seem to be a touch more.... Colorful.... In their approach. I havent figured out why. I know I did read theFAQ and still apparently broke them somehow.... I REALLY love this app but sometimes I see favoritism toward higher ranked or longer standing MWers. I don't know why. Best advice, hang back for a while and watch the flow. Even though the caption says "Disney related" people in the lounge prefer Disneyland pics. I remember when I first posted to the lounge ... Horrible memories come flooding back when I think about it .... People were so odd and .....well .... I'll just explain. People gave me tips and secrets about the park, people sent me Disney stuff in the mail, they laughed and joked with me ... And they did all of this without asking for anything in return .... I just think autopia needs an update. I get sick from the fumes. I can't even smoke anymore. Blech, but I do sometimes.
I think we should have more characters running around, especially villains. I also think it would be cool if for Disneyland's big 60 that they brought back some old shows from the golden horseshoe and parades, and what not. Kinda bring back a lil bit from all the past decades. And maybe come up with some new show/musical about Walt Disney and the beginning . I have one in my mind that I wanted yto wire down and make sketches for. Ya know? I wish I could just travel back in time and experience each decade of Disney. I want to feel it. Please do something with the peoplemover tracks!! I still remember riding that with my folks when I was young and I loved the Tron tunnel - why not bring back a Tron ride? Bring back the Peoplemover in some fashion, and turn Innovations into the Tron game grid - in 3D or something!! So it looks like you are being transported to the grid with other programs and then you go through light cycles or something, but more modern than it looked in the 80's. A little reminder CUT and PASTED from the MW FAQ: "NO COMPLAINING: There are a lot of places you can go to complain about Disney, we really don’t want to hear about it here. Also if you have an issue about how MouseWait is run or anything of that nature, send a support request to us instead of voicing your concern in the Lounge. People use the Lounge as a “getaway” and that is why our goal is to keep the Lounge in a positive, vacation style atmosphere. "(((((NOTE:this post wasn't directed towards the orginal post but he and others kept making negative comments about Disney in the rest of the thread.))))

Ok. I just saw how far along this post came. That was not complaining by any stretch of the imagination. I also was not being negative, but it was "negative" information about a ride closure, and it appears I broke terms of service by trying to inform MW'rs deep in line for RSR why the line wasn't budging?
I think we all know what complaining is and I trust we all have common sense on that issue.
Now ifsome folks want me to complain, it would be over the fact that some lounge users have been unnecessarily jumping on happy MA'rs for no good reason at all.
I think most of usknow what I'm talking about.
So if it sounded like I was complaining, I wasn't. And if for some strange reason you get that impression, just read my post in Mickey Mouse's voice and I think that problem will resolve itself.
That said, I still love MW and will continue to attempt to post good, useful and fun info, still complaint free, into the lounge because that's why the lounge is here. - Timsierramist302.9 #745 6-16-12 4:39PMLikeReply

I was just there yesterday. I had a great time and having an AP takes the pressure off having to do it all in one day. I still have some time to renew so will have time to plan for the new price.
Here's the deal. Last year Disney was thinking about ending the AP park hoppers due to it will be over crowed in Cars Land. They said it will be more locals in DCA then tourist. So my guess is at the last min was to raise park prices to control AP guess. It hasn't been a full year from the last price increase. No theme park in the world is worth $649 a year in AP. it may be a deal to a single person, but to a family of 4 or 6, it's really out of there budget. That's a price of a small car payment. It's sick what there doing. - Gadgetman288.9 #825 5-20-12 8:20AMLike(64)Reply
