Please add me...great RAK! My favorite CM story was when we took my now 7 year old to Disneyland for the 1st time for his 5th birthday. We were waiting for the fireworks and my husband was taking pictures of the castle. We were in the area that the CM's were going to clear out (right in front of the partner's statue). My son starts talking with the CM who was directing traffic. He wanted to hold her light wand because it looked like a light saber. They started chatting and next thing I know, my son is playing with the light wand and the CM is calling him Tyler Luke. She proceeds to ask him if he's ever seen the fireworks and he replies, "No, this is my 1st time here". She then asks if we would like to sit in a "very special" place to watch them. She tells us to come back at 8pm and she will escort us to our seats. Then she hands us a Fast Pass for Space Mountain, so we have something to do while we wait. We came back at 8pm and she escorts us through this roped off area with benches directly in front of the castle and asks if we like hot chocolate. Next thing we know, she delivers us 3 hot chocolates. She also presents my son with a signed photo of Mickey Mouse! We will never forget that special night watching the fireworks in the most amazing seats in the house. I will also never forget the kindness of CM Jessica. My son still remembers that night and how special he felt. I sent her a thank you note when we returned home. My most magical moment at Disneyland ever. Please add me:) My favorite CM moment was when they made a dream of mine happen in real life. I worked my tail off for quite some time to surprise my mom with a vacation. I told her I would take her anywhere in the world. She chose Disney. This trip would be the very FIRST I ever went on as an adult and paid for myself. Again, the very reason why I adore Disney is due to her influence, so I would have done anything to make this special. We were living on the East Coast at the time, and we drove down to Walt Disney World. I was driving and told my mom not to peek outside when we approached the resort. I drive in front of the gates of the Grand Floridian (I booked WAYYY in advance to ensure a room), and told her we had two weeks in paradise. Our second to last day in the parks, we headed to Animal Kingdom and exploring Rafiki's area. A CM approaches my mom, asks her what we were celebrating (gotta love those buttons!!!) She says we are celebrating our first trip together, etc, etc. The cast member asks if we wanted special seats to view the parade that afternoon. Naturally, we were totally on board. He told us to meet him at a certain gate and he would get us our seats. Come to find out, the seats were on the float IN THE PARADE. We felt like complete and total celebrities. It was the best vacation I have ever been on, and the best memory of the Disney parks I have. The whole experience was mind-blowing. The CM who was working on the attraction saw your birthday button and wished you a happy birthday... you were SO excited to get to go in the bobsleds, you were grinning from ear to Mickey ear. When it was time to get off the CM announced that it was a very special day and that the birthday girl got to stay in her bobsled! ...you got to ride it again!! AND AGAIN! The BEST hats come with either ears or a tail. :) This place (MouseWait) is the single greatest thing to happen in my world since I got my AP. They go soooo well together.
