When my hubby and I are out with our kids, we tend to not drink. (we're not big drinkers anyway, but do imbibe on occasion). I was telling him that we each needed a day where one of us can have one adult beverage on our next vacation. I'm having a shrunken head, I told him he needs to have a black pearl as he is a long island iced tea fan - GoofyMom77 728.7 #248 7-7-13 10:56PMLike(1)Reply
I'm sorry to hear you did not have the day you were expecting. Sometimes that happens wherever you go. Just have to make the best of it. That is usually when we decide to try something we normally wouldn't have done and then discovere More...
Hello and welcome to mw,I am happy you came accross this app,but we are a happy community and don't like to hear negativity.I wish this story would have read like* I went to Disneyland yesterday and noticed the times were off so I updated them accordingly. Some rides did go down at times but at least I was able to enjoy the day with friends and family and still had a great day* Also if you keep expecting to continue to have a Bad day then your point of view would be to point out everything that can or will go wrong, many mwrs live hundreds of miles away and would easily trade your day just to be there. - pikarich 4431.8 #26 2-10-13 9:18AMLike(9)Reply
Bummer. To me, It's not about how many rides we can go on,but how much we can enjoy each other's company, the Immaculate scenery, people watch, and notice new things. Did you, per chance, enter wait times to help the app? I wish I could have been at Disneyland. Alas I am over 350 miles away.😊 - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 5629.3 #17 2-10-13 8:49AMLike(8)Reply
I never rode this. Actually, my first visit to DCA was in 2007 so Monster's Inc was already there by my first visit. I kinda wish I could've experienced this attraction. - aidensmama 340.2 #661 1-12-13 12:38AMLikeReply
Thanks for sharing. I had NO idea this ever existed. Very, very interesting.

I first saw it a few years ago with my family, and we /never/ used to see any shows. We went just because we were passing by and the next show was starting soon. We now go to see it every time we come. It's really a fun and entertaining show and even if you're not a "show" person, you gotta see it at least once. Highly recommended. :) - JRDrummer_CM 875.4 #196 1-6-13 7:37AMLike(1)Reply

Never been on Xmas day or Xmas eve. When I was younger my family would always go new year's day. It is crowded new years eve but the morning of new years day was wide open. I guess everyone was watching the rose parade or nursing a hangover...or both. Haven't done that in a couple of years though so I am not sure if it is the same now. - swvballmom 6.7 #13611 12-22-12 11:30PMLikeReply
Thank for for noticing and taking a few minutes to help. Most people don't think about the fact that sometimes it only takes a few minutes of your time to make someone's entire day. - swvballmom 6.7 #13611 12-15-12 11:39PMLikeReply
Thanks for doing this! I always enjoy taking pics for guests. You never know how that pic means so much to them. - BaseballMickey_CM 7186.1 #8 12-15-12 11:46PMLikeReply

Tinker Bell half marathon weekend is Jan 19-20th, so that'd be why there's no early entry those days (although I'll be in the parks early both days because I'm doing both the 5k and the half). But why Feb 3rd, I wonder? - Ladypixel 15.2 #7966 12-27-12 8:59PMLike(1)Reply
I didn't watch the performance (waiting until Sat.) but found myself several times on Main St during the show. BBM is correct...know where you want to go as the sidewalks on Main St are one-way. There is a cross-over area at the Market Place corner. And since the stores are open you can double back through them to avoid the one-way on the street. But the only doors open are those at the corners. - Gia 802.0 #215 12-12-12 12:33PMLikeReply
So sorry to hear about this. Disneyland is supposed to be the happiest place for everyone.
I'm sorry that happened to you and kudos for being the bigger person in that situation. I probably would have had my pass taken away for kicking them in the face. - ScubaSteve028 835.7 #207 12-5-12 7:14PMLike(19)Reply
I'm so sorry you had to experience that. A few weeks ago my daughter got made fun of on Pooh. She's hard of hearing so she still makes a lot of babbling sounds and can be quite loud since she doesn't understand how to control the volume of her voice. The couple in front of us were annoyed by the noises she was making and the wife started to mimick her halfway through the ride. After we got off they walked away from us quickly, I shouted after them that I hope they were proud of themselves for making fun of a deaf 4 year old. There are people out there that are rude and inconsiderate, but there are even more that are understanding. I hope your next trip is better. (((Hugs))) - LBChica 2357.8 #56 12-5-12 10:08PMLike(6)Reply

Ditto on the fast passes. Go for rides as early as possible. Eat at off peak times to avoid long lines. Take snacks. Enjoy the beautiful ambiance - the music, decorations, Christmastime is a wonderful time to go to Disneyland.
Tomorrow is the day after today. Mark it on your calendar. That's my best tip for tomorrow - ScooterMike 1963.0 #74 11-22-12 8:04PMLikeReply
I was going to say get there early, but you've got that covered, lol. It will be busy, so just pack your patience! Mornings in DL are my favorite time--you can usually get on quite a few rides and collect some fastpasses, but you kinda have to be quick and efficient. We usually try to ride the "must-dos" in the morning and just relax in the afternoon/evening by strolling down Main Street, having a drink, or waiting for a show. - Spoonful_O_Sugar 600.8 #319 11-22-12 8:13PMLikeReply

Truly you should have spoken to someone who could have helped you at Disneyland. We cannot help and it's against MouseWait rules to complain here. Hopefully next time you will speak up :) - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 5629.3 #17 11-3-12 9:45PMLike(3)Reply
We had a bad experience at goofys kitchen last time we were terr and complained and actually thanked us for saying something. They said they never know if try are doing bad and need to fix something if they don't know! Kind of makes sense. They can't fix it if you don't speak up! - akpoppins 263.1 #1171 11-3-12 10:05PMLikeReply
