If you are doing early entry the fast pass isn't open yet. Get on the ride and then get in line for a fast pass before the park opens. - kskating528.9 #294 2-11-14 8:08PMLike(1)Reply
If there are two of us we do both. One person gets in line for a FP, the other person gets in the reg line. If the reg line is long then that person gets in the single rider line. - DisneyGrandma562.0 #263 2-11-14 7:32PMLikeReply
We did the early admission once and went straight to the ride. We were happy with that decision. We asked a CM in advance the same question as you. She advised to just ride the ride, b/c the fast pass line is long too, and they don't start distributing Fast Passes till opening, so you'd have to wait an hour for a Fast Pass. RSR queue does go fast if you're one of the first in line, as long as the ride is up and running on time for early opening. - brigeet326.8 #632 2-11-14 10:47PMLikeReply
Ok, thanks all. I wondered if they waited until opening to start the FP line. You're all very helpful. - Yeti_Ing9.3 #8825 2-11-14 11:38PMLikeReply
Dang. I need to date a CM. My wife really wants that Olaf pin since she collects Frozen pins. I might even get her permission if it's for the Olaf pin....haha. - DLKenCA1087.0 #109 2-11-14 11:07PMLikeReply
I have a bff who loves Belle and my daughter's preschool teacher was Cinderella for Halloween a few years ago. These are great for those wonderful people on my Christmas list! Thanks for sharing! - brigeet326.8 #632 11-23-13 7:12AMLikeReply

Do you also get it for parking at the Toy Story lot?
Hmm. I wonder if I should take my car from the hotel parking lot and just go over there to park free with my AP, get a free fragrance thingy, and then turn right around and go back to my hotels parking. 😂😂😂. And by me, of course I mean send my husband. 😁 - MeridaFan2723.9 #30 11-16-13 4:20PMLike(1)Reply
I like that Max is gone. Goofy and Pluto just go together better. It took me out of the parade and into the 1990s when Max would show up.
I got to watch the Christmas fantasy parade today, so excited.
I watch this parade religiously
So here are the enhancements and/or changes of 2013. This is
the first day so I’m not sure any
More changes are coming but this is what I observed today.
First the old teddy returned with the ballerina dancer replacing Duffy the bear
as the lead bear. Duffy the bear is now on the Mrs. Santa Claus
Replacing pluto who use to be on the roof waving a star for
the tree. Pooh Bear and tigger got e yore
together , before he was always behind the mickey and Minnie float. They also
added new snow skaters
to the mix. Mickey and Minnie had new dialog in the park ice
skating scene. Pluto replaced max in the goofy gingerbread scene and the old
ingredient skit was removed. This was when goofy would say , we need yummy
ingredients, candy canes go over there ect and the bakers would play with sacks
and candy canes. Tiana was added to the princess float and ariel showed her new
dress. They did not do the skit where the princess would get the candles and
the princess came off the float for a few minutes and did a little dance then
get back on the float.Chip n dale car still not making the braking sound
(guests complained from last year as well. Missing where the 7 dwarfs from snow
white and santa had new dialog as well.

Thanks Pika:). This is the first Christmas in many years that we won't be making the trip (not complaining, we were just there in Oct and will be there in feb). The parade is my favorite! Thanks for your update, I actually was able to invision every part in my head and see all the changes☺️🎅🎄. - hatgal76382.2 #474 11-9-13 12:12PMLikeReply

I am on a laptop now but always have trouble typing from my Sii in Disneyland. We saw him dropping off his stroller and rubbing sunscreen on his wife's back/neck. There was one plaid, which was how I spotted him. Damon was pushing a stroller and had a big white camera around his neck and a black cap with a B on it (Boston I'm assuming). We were with friends who don't have passes so it was fun for them to see a big celeb there! I'm not gutsy enough to take a cell phone picture from the front. I'd like to second the skewers at Bengal BBQ! They're so tasty that I crave them they're not bready or fatty. Win-Win. Don't buy the bread there. Stick with a veggie skewer (seasoned so nicely) and a few meat skewers.
First off calories don't count at Disneyland! But if they did, I recommend the salad of the day at Cafe Orleans to help balance whatever evil lies in the Slap yo mama chicken located in the Plaza as it comes highly recommended with double mashed potatoes. - BombFrog537.8 #284 8-22-13 9:12PMLike(6)Reply

Part of the time the characters dance on the stage on their own; they have short choreographed routines. Most of the time they scatter in that big room and dance with guests. The few times we went there my kids didn't want to leave. When the characters weren't out dancing the dj would be playing music, but no one danced much without the characters out and about. They use kid-friendly pop music, not Disney music. - brigeet326.8 #632 6-29-13 2:06PMLikeReply

I went to the Fullerton location today (Aug 13) and was disappointed by the selection. I came online to see if there were any old posts about them closing b/c I had on idea. My kids wanted some Chip n' Dale popcorn buckets from the 50th anniversary. They were only about 1.68 or something. I bought two Hannah Montanna pins to trade at DL. Muah hahah. They had a lot of High School Musical stuff and tons of random non-Disney shirts with ridiculous sayings. I'm sad they're closing but glad I went before it shut down completely. - brigeet326.8 #632 8-13-13 1:40PMLikeReply

Heather Kent is really nice. Known her since back in my swing dancing days in the 90s when she was the lead singer for a band called the Kent and Miller Orchestra . She played with the band until she got her first break with a Jenny McCarthay show on prime time that lasted one whole season. - Dave 10389.7 #2 6-9-13 2:42AMLike(1)Reply

We like this attraction. Being large adults it doesn't work well when we ride together. Also, you need to make small movements. Since you are riding on a cushion of air, if you lean too far one way you tilt it to the point it "digs" in. So... one adult per Tire and small weight changes and you will be gliding all over the place!!! Best of all, now that the line is small you can ride it several times to get the hang of it. Have fun!!! - Boundin458.3 #361 5-14-13 10:50PMLikeReply

I don't remember Contraption. But I knew I woke up too early if You and Me Kid was still on. I LOVED Good Morning, Mickey. Now I watch YouTube for all the classic cartoons. Have to educate my kids somehow :-P
Please add me. I was born in 1979. My greatest memory is playing hide n go seek with my dad within the park. It seemed like he wasn't worried about me but he always was. Thumbs up for the people who care about enforcing or just introducing new ideas - TwinkleJenn86.7 #3468 5-1-13 5:03AMLikeReply
