Feedback----The use of music is a good idea for the beginning and softly during certain parts of the podcast but the use of the music on this podcast was way too loud and did not help with the flow of the cast and was very distracting. Try and find a few of the old attraction background music from the parks and see if you can incorporate that into the cast at a volume level that does not take away from the voices and see if you can sublimely have tracks that have to do with the topics, lands, attractions, shows that you might be talking about. Get rid of the generic sound effects. I only heard it a couple of times but felt that it was a bit cheesy and not necessary. I would limit the amount of hosts to 2 at a max during future casts and have them rotate to peoples availability or however you need to work it out. Having more than 2 just gets confusing and you have the issue where everybody wants to throw their two cents in and you spend longer amounts of time on topics that really don’t need it and it gets confusing to who is speaking. A long with that thought is the sound quality of some of the members on what sounds like a flip phone in their bathroom. There were only two members whom had good sound quality and that was Trent and one of the girls, can’t remember which one. The others sounded muffled, like they had a trumpet mute over the phone and like they were not talking directly into a microphone. You might want to record these all in person at a host computer or limit it to those who have a quality microphone that can be recorded at a higher quality, I really had a hard time understanding some of you. Also IMO I would really try and limit the amount of in Park news to a minimum for podcasts. By the time most people download a podcast the information that is being talked about in the podcast will either be already happening or be in the past. You have to remember that a lot of your audience is going to be Disney fans and every day users of the lounge, and other Disney fan sites. Like most Disney AP holders and users they already know about most everything that has been posted on the Disney blogs and or on Disney fan sites, twitter and FB. It’s just like in the lounge when somebody posts news two days later and everyone jumps on them and says CHOO CHOO ALL ABOARD. A good podcast is one that gets its new users to want to go back and download past episodes that they may have missed and with that being said I would try and limit the amount of discussions on Disney in park news instead a large portion of the cast would be like setting your DVR to record the weather channel and watching it a week later. Not everyone is going to be able to download and listen to it the day it comes out. Try and find some unique topics that not everyone is talking about and elaborate on those and make it into the bulk of the cast. Some of these topics might take a month worth of research discussions with other Mwers and so forth but it would be very interesting to talk about things that not everybody knows about. The lounge is a perfect place to find those topics that people are posting about and interested in and do and in depth talk about it. Prime example was something like SIC posted yesterday about Prince Phillip not wearing the same hat in the Parks or maybe about a couple of the windows on Main Street and about who that person is or in depth history of an attraction…I did like how you talked about new features of Mousewait and think you could spend a little extra time on that just like a SIC 101 post but a segment on the show. Same goes for talking about some of the funny posts or most popular posts of the week or all time. You might also want to invite others in for something like a Get to know your Mousewaiters and feature people on it. Also I think that once a week is a bit much for a podcast where you will just be spitting stuff out so fast that you will lost quality over quantity - Dave 8652.6 #2 2-12-13 11:57AMLike(19) Reply

Thanks for you input! We have talked about producing more original content for the show for the future. Regarding length, we wanted the first one to be a little longer and to introduce most of the voices you'll be hearing on the show, but for future shows, we will try to keep it to about 30-40 minutes and to a smaller group of hosts. Well said Dave, thanks for posting this. You never know who is on the other end, it could be someone who is younger, someone who just lost a loved one, a person with a learning disability, or someone who has watched the MW story videos and wants to be a part of the community. Just because they don't have the best communication skills and they're not social media savvy doesn't make them a troll. We've had our share of trolls and weirdos over the past 3 years, but they are extremely rare compared to the massive number of legitimate users. MouseWait can't thrive and grow if it's an exclusive club, it needs to be open to all Disney fans who follow the rules. - AdminLike(60) Reply

Its crazy to think that its been 3 years. It honestly feels a lot longer..Its amazing at how big the community has gotten since the very first meetup..The life long friendships, the dreams that have come true, and the laughter that we all have in the parks on a daily basis.Its so neat to see all these meetups on a daily basis that get up to 80 people and happen not only at the parks but all over the state of California..Its pretty crazy to think that none of us would probably have ever met if it were not for this app...There are not many of us from the beginning who still actively post on MouseWait or attend meetups but I know that each and everyone of them is extremely grateful for the people who have been brought into their lives because of this app....I know some people might get annoyed at times by people posting in the lounge and their countdowns to the park, what is your favorite ride, etc etc but you have to remember, you were once that new kid on the block that was just as excited to post in the lounge and join in on the fun and not read the FAQ....I look forward this weekend seeing old friends and meeting new ones and finally getting the chance to meet some of you that I've seen in the lounge for sometime but never had the chance to meet in person....Hope everyone has a fun a weekend!!! Thanks to Mousewait: I think leggings and uggs are a viable fashion choice, I tried (and failed) to eat a Matterhorn sundae by myself, I know who Denny Hamlin is, I know where all the bars are in the resort, I've had many sleepless nights and a phone fall on my face more than once, I know about penny wise and honey badgers and Rebecca black and gangnam style and hidin yo kids, I witnessed a banana peeled, I own vinylmations and pins and earhats and about $1000 worth of crap from company d. Yeah, thanks. 😏 Actually, I have a lot to thank MW for: late night craft frenzies, staying up all night talking in our hotel rooms, going to WDW with people I barely knew 6 months, realizing that we know everyone on our floor, pizza parties, group texts, squeezing 40 people on a jungle cruise boat and making the skipper laugh too hard to spiel, going to gay days and bats day and dapper day and Harry potter day, answering "80" when the cm asks "how many?" and then watching them panic, reading about the MW babies being born and watching them grow up and finally being tall enough to ride the big kid rides, skipping down main street arm in arm like a bunch of doofuses, ☔ on pirates, dressing up like plaids and getting a talking to by security, meat babies, laying on the ground to watch fireworks, having someone text "are you home safely?" at 2am, and always being there for you, even when life sucks.
