I was feeling pretty upset and emotional one day at DL, I sat down on the curb at The Hub while my husband went to buy me some bacon wrapped asparagus (because that makes everything better). While I was sitting there a CM walked up and asked if I was feeling alright, I tried to casually brush him off because I was embarrased, but he persisted so I told him I felt pretty lousy. The CM took me over to a reserved area for the parade and told me to enjoy the view and he hoped I would feel better. I dont even remember his name, but he made me feel so special! - Geekery227.1 #1280 10-11-11 12:20PMLike(5) Reply
Back in the early 2000's there was a clarinet player in New Orelans Square named Vince. I'm a clarinet player too (among other instruments) and I was there with my high school's concert band for a clinic. We'd finished the workshop and those of us with smaller instruments opted to carry them in our backpacks rather than truck 'em back to the bus. Vince chatted with my group of friends and I and serenaded us with some Yo Ho and Friend Like Me. He saw one of my friends push her flute case aside to get her jacket from her bag and asked if we had our instruments with us. Most did and he asked if we were jazz fans. I was the only one in jazz band too. Long story getting cut short: Vince and I had an impromptu performance of "Begin the Beguine" right in NOS. People stopped and listened and applauded and I'm pretty sure I had the biggest adreniline rush of my life. That was such an amazing experience and so awesome to play with someone so talented! - mandigutterrose156.4 #2204 10-11-11 9:07PMLike(5) Reply

Just saw a guy running through frontier land being chased by multiple security guards. Wonder if he was inspired by the "has anyone been kicked out" post. Anyone know what happened? I'm nosy :)
THANK GOD I GOT AWAY....Those security guards did not like it that I was canoeing in the Rivers Of America on a banana boat naked - Dave 8638.8 #2 10-9-11 10:00PMLike(20) Reply

I want everyone to share their favorite Jungle Cruise CM joke. Mine is,"There's something you don't see everyday! Except for me. Every 15 minutes."
I was seriously just about to post the same thing. Great minds think alike. I like, when looking at indy, "and here's the rarest of all the creatures in the jungle, they attach to their parents for 18 to 25 years and suck them dry" - Seacow427.6 #296 6-15-11 9:30PMLike Reply
Well, not exactly a joke. But the whole boat yelled at the exiting Indie people. That was fun.... Joke on them - parkfan237.5 #4080 6-15-11 9:30PMLike Reply

04/23 Treadmill - alternating 3.5mph/4.6mph every 2 min. Total of 24min, 191 cal. I was doing C25K, but stalled at 4 weeks when I went to Disneyland. I'm back on Medifast, so I am doing the treadmill at this level every other day for 2 weeks, then I will get back on C25K. Mojito
Pour 3/4 of an ounce (about half a shot) fresh lime juice into a glass. Add one packet of sucralose sweetener (such as Splenda) and four or five mint leaves. Stir until the sweetener dissolves. Add a shot of light rum and several ice cubes. Top with 2 ounces club soda and a sprig of mint.

If you like raspberry lemon drops, try sprite or soda water (I like lemon flavored) with a shot of raspberry vodka and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. It's so refreshing in the summer, and only 100-150 cal - Spoonful_O_Sugar436.2 #285 6-4-11 8:58PMLike Reply

I make a pretty mean Artichoke Dip. 1 cup real mayo, 1 cup sour cream, 1 pkg cream of Leek soup mix, 1 clove garlic, 1 can artichoke hearts in water (drained & chopped), 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix all together (add more cheese on top) and bake in a casserole dish @ 350 for 30 min and top is golden brown. Serve w/ pita chips. - CaliCanuck511.7 #229 4-28-11 4:54PMLike Reply
