StarWarsLove was awesome enough to go to that store right now and find out how I can get a new one. They said I can call on Monday and get one shipped. I hope it works!! I'm soooo bummed!!! TY Jas 😘😘 So, lesson learned....if you buy something in a sealed box, open it up before you leave to make sure it's ok!! I went to a wedding this weekend of two friends I met on MouseWait. I couldn't imagine not being a part of their special day or the shenanigans before and after. It's amazing to me how lifelong friendships have developed all because of a phone app. The community that has grown because of MouseWait is remarkable, but Mousewait is more then an app or website. It's a place where people with a common love of Disney can meet in real life or virtually. The giving, the RAKs, people doing special favors for others to only be paid by the thanks of the person gifted. I remember the first meet up, carrying around a laptop so a friend from Australia could join the fun. I remember when I first met LaceySue and heard her say "It's Coaster" when she recognized me. I remember the first two people I met because of MouseWait. Lots of awesome memories, lots of new friends. I just wanted to thank @Admin for having a dream and creating this wonderful place we call MouseWait. I also want to thank @MrsPrinceCharming for the support she gives him. This is a video that not many of you have seen. Created by Admin and shown at the 2011 Birthday. - Coaster9295.5 #1 6-4-13 12:42AMLike(18) Reply
Well said, Coaster. Although people have come & gone, I couldn't be more appreciative of the wonderful friends I have made through MW. The biggest of thanks to Admin for all his hard work, time, and effort as well as to MrsPC for the support she's given Admin. - LBChica 1560.6 #52 6-4-13 6:43AM

thank you Coaster, I love this post that reminds us of how blessed we are to just chat on an app and meet so many people (if only online sometimes) that become friends and family. You are part of our family and you are such a wonderful positive influence on this site so thank you for you and your wife being great MouseWaiters and teaching us all how its done. And thanks of course Admin and MrsPrinceCharming and your whole family, for sharing your love of Disney with us and giving us all a place to share it with everyone else!! Love ya all!!! - secretagentangel710.8 #143 6-4-13 12:47AMLike(2) Reply
I love the video.. I am still very new to mousewait, but that video gave me goosebumps. My grandparents would put us up in the disneyland hotel, cousins, aunts, uncles... then my parents too carried on the tradition, it was our family vacation every year, and now we continue it with our kids. It was our first date as well :) .. When we lost my mother two years ago, where else did we take my father, but disneyland, he rode my mother's favorite rides just for her, it was such an amazing trip for healing... thank you for sharing!!! - JeanaLeigh5.4 #10133 6-12-13 2:14AMLike Reply

Haha! Well that is probably everyone's first reaction when they see it for the first time so you could have left it in the video. It is seriously incredible! - kayceeb 143.5 #2437 5-30-13 10:09PM

You can people dancin' in the streets with their kids and others. It was very sweet. I was surprised how many people didn't know about the tradition of the lights going at sunset. I imagine in a few years, regulars will come in and start taking over the street and dance with each other as The Cords play on. - RadioMaverick673.8 #160 5-31-13 6:23AMLike Reply

Does anyone know how I'd find a list of gluten free options for both parks and downtown disney?
“Eating gluten-free in Disneyland is very possible but always a chore. This time, we obtained the special gluten-free menu from City Hall on Main Street. It turns out that eating gluten-free in California Adventure
really means manually eliminating the gluten yourself: that is, eating the hamburger without the bun, etc. We’d rather find a hamburger served on a gluten-free bun. To find that, you have to go into Disneyland park or to one of the outside restaurants. Here are the choices that particularly appealed to us inside the park:
* Club Buzz will serve a hamburger on a gluten-free Kinnikinnick bun. We eat these every time now.
* The Plaza Inn will serve gluten-free pancakes during breakfast hours.
* Coke Corner will serve hot dogs on a gluten-free tapioca bun.
* Pizza Port has two gluten-free selections: gluten-free pasta with your choice of sauces, and pizza served on a gluten-free crust (probably Kinnikinnick brand).
Instead of waiting in the long lines, we decided to wait while sitting on our bums in our favorite resort restaurant: Storyteller Cafe in the Grand Californian hotel. We’ve always had wonderful luck here finding
gluten-free alternatives, and this time was no exception. The chef actually came out to chat with us several times. One of the waiters later told us that this particular chef had been with the restaurant since the hotel had opened, and that he had been the one to push for gluten-free alternatives on the menu. Anyway, he helped us eliminate questionable items from the grilled salmon meal, and he also made us gluten-free macaroni and cheese , and two different pizzas made on gluten-free Kinnikinnick crust.”
I found this on a Disney Food Blog online hope this helps - Redman148.1 #2362 5-28-13 8:09PMLike(2) Reply
I think carnation will make the gluten free pankcakes or waffles too. - secretagentangel 710.8 #143 5-28-13 8:10PM
The Club Buzz reference makes me suspect this is pretty old information. I think there are a lot more gluten-free options now. - JustCantWait 839.8 #111 5-28-13 10:06PM
My boyfriend has celiac disease and he likes to eat at Rancho del Zocalo Mexican restaurant in frontierland. The chef actually comes out to talk to him and makes it himself to make sure it's prepped gluten free! Very good food as well! - DaisyDuke1412.3 #6307 5-28-13 9:27PMLike(1) Reply

Another awesome memory! A few of us who were attending UCI at the time, ditched classes (and right before finals!) to ride Space Mtn. on opening day! No lines back then so we rode it over and over again. We were given free tshirts (I still have mine, just don't know where it is) and bumper stickers commemorating opening day. No music back then, and the queue had windows where those waiting in line could see the "rockets" zooming around. When I was hired as a CM the following year we had a tour of the attraction then rode it with the lights on...which is quite scary! The tracks seem soooo close to each other! The best memories I have are riding it with my dad...seeing him with his hands in the air and laughing made it even better. - Gia794.2 #122 5-27-13 11:38AMLike(12) Reply

I think they were neat, but I love the ever changing landscapes at DLR. Also, I used to get major panic attacks watching parents perch their little ones up high on the letters. Yikes! - iwantdisney259.6 #929 5-20-13 10:53PMLike(2) Reply
This is so true hosting a adorable little girl dressed as Minnie to the top of the L I saw one day... I couldn't leave till they got her down! Of course that was frightening too as the super tall father used his other older daughter on his shoulders to get her on and off! It was like I was glued in place but shock and fear and hardly believing a family was working to accomplish this! I couldn't stop watching thank goodness little Minnie got down safe... But good gracious where were any of those "parental instincts" when they came up with that frightening idea... Tower of terror felt like nothing after that to start off the day :P - somedaymyprincewillcome16 204.8 #1598 5-21-13 3:24AM
