POTC was my mom's favorite ride. She used to say the 'drops' were her version of a roller coaster! She hasn't been since 1996 (due to a stroke and Alzheimer) but I will never forget how she would always ask to ride in the front (using me or her granddaughter as an excuse!) My dad took me to a near by bench, sat with me, and began to tell me about, pirates, the ride and what I would experience.
