We did one of the most unique experience at dl and got the kids silhouettes done. many options from one to up to five on one, but it's 9.45 per person no discounts. they also do service animals.
You can also ask to see each artist's book, the silhouettes they create during down time. I've been able to purchase several awesome silhouettes from these books. My favorites are the Haunted Mansion duelers, which I put in Haunted Mansion frames! - Atora 2469.4 #46 1-20-15 9:17AMLike(8)Reply
I've always wanted to do this, but for some reason, always thought it was more expensive. Totally getting my kids' silhouettes done in June! - Diz_Mel 93.7 #3531 3-30-15 7:37PMLike(2)Reply

#RAK Helping my mom clean out a storage shed and we found the cutest Mickey Mouse gi size 18months. She's going to throw it away 😱 it's in perfect condition. I told her no let me RAK it. Anyone interested? Ends on Friday March 13th.
Just read that ticket prices went up. Does anybody have any idea when this takes place?
I'll comment now before the big fiasco starts. 1) Since I started working for the Resort 4 years ago, we've opened up a brand new Disney California Adventure along with a lot of new attractions in Disneyland also. Secondly, since I started, the Resort has expanded its cast from 20,000 to almost 27,000, providing more jobs for what is already the largest employer in Orange County. With these two changes, it costs money to run and maintain a place like Disneyland, that runs on a 24 hour clock that never closes. Also with the 60th anniversary around the corner, there's going to be plenty of exciting things happening that having an AP will be worth it. If you look at the average Annual Passholder, the discounts and savings one already receives already covers in the increase plus more. And that doesn't include the special events and perks too. Yes, it is expensive, but in the long run, the price is well worth it to enjoy the Disney magic for a whole year. - BaseballMickey_CM 6865.4 #9 2-21-15 2:45PMLike(7)Reply

First and foremost- huge Disney fan and an avowed capitalist. I'm all about business and profit. However, lets not fool ourselves by saying these price increases are for more personnel, new or refurbished attractions or park improvements. They simply are not. 1st qtr FY 2015 showed a 9% increase in profit over 4th qtr FY 2014 for a total profit after operating costs of 3.9 BILLION dollars for Disney Parks and resorts. Not entertainment, movies or merchandising-just the parks. (All of them) The wife and I bought our first passes in 2010 for 399.00 each for premiums with parking. In 5 years that has doubled. Is it still worth it? My personal decision is yes, but it might drive others away. The parks don't seem to be hurting because of it. http://thewaltdisneycompany.com/investors/financial-information/earnings - Firelt 228.6 #1538 2-23-15 2:21PMLikeReply
