I do gift cars for my kids. I even got them personalized with their photos and they are reloadable. And if they don't spend the entire amount at Disney you could always use it online or at your local Disney store. Just logged on and just read your post..Instead of Disney quotes I really want to share a little secret of mine and my sister's that always cheers us up. It's something our parents started when our grandpa passed away when we were really young and during that difficult time we learned to make life better and happier (just a little bit). It's a bit silly but you have to use your imagination, you really have to close your eyes and imagine. Count 1-5.. Start with #1 and imagine a talk with someone that said something silly or made you smile, #2 remember something you had fun learning #3 think of your favorite birthday #4 remember a hug that made you feel warm and #5 if you could be anything in the world, no matter how silly of a thing, imagine yourself being it. BVS is timeless... I love the architecture and all the shops. I'm taken back by all the details they included inside of the shops as well. The trolleys also add that genuine touch that you have entered back in time to when Walt arrived. I absolutely love it. And Carsland is just too busy for me to enjoy it yet. Aww I wish I could answer all of this.. Still haven't been yet :( but I do have hopes and thoughts on what I imagine it to be 😊 I've so far seen the Carthay Circle Theater as it was the only area open. I could say that I have some thoughts about it, I'm still dreaming about it. I was really happy to scout the Carthay Circle Theater when I arrive at the parks and was mesmerized after discovering it but the first thing that awed me was the fountain. I was captured by the romance of the water and the fountain as it sets the stage for the Carthay Theater. The tile work, fine embellishments, the paint and colors chosen for the fountain, the sounds that graced with 20's/30's music from its seeming less speakers combined with the sound of the calm water, were among the beautiful and very well combined details that led as the centerpiece of DCA. I really believed that I was transported to an old still shot, but with sound and color, I even felt underdressed for this presence ☺. The sound of the fountain was my favorite, it was soothing and it made everything feel real– almost like being pinched to reality. Finally, as I walked around the fountain and stood in between the theater and fountain, the entire scene made sense. I looked up at the tall theater, I noticed the trolley tracks in my periphery and listened to the beautiful fountain and my mind was blown away.. it filled me with emotion and almost instant (sweet) tears. I really took in the most of that moment and appreciated it. It was an organic and unique experience because it all symbolizes what we believe as Mouse Waiters, and more meaningfully, what I believed since I was child... Magic is real, dreams do come true and never stop believing. At last I realized that I was looking at a monument, the (original) Carthay Theater in 1937during it's hay days when its glowing lights lit up for "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". It may be silly to say but the world wouldn't be the same without that moment... though here we are getting a precious piece of the monumental day, we wouldn't of been here with out it. I was completely mesmerized! I felt like I'd waited forever to see it. And it just so happened that I had o have surgery just 2 days before the opening. I couldn't stay away! My husband and daughter took me and rolled me through in a wheelchair. I never had the opportunity to meet her, but she sounds like a beautiful, strong person and I have faith that as long as she is determined, she will be able to overcome these obstacles placed before her. Keep her in high spirits and keep her motivated. People have come back from worse and I have no doubt with her will power she will be able to accomplish more than she thinks. My prayers and thoughts go out to you and your family during this incredibly rough time. Do everything in your heart to make her smile.
