We usually go the week before the holiday. It's definitely very busy, but it has a different feel than summertime crowds. For some reason, it feels less frantic to us. There aren't Christmas parties, like what we have with Halloween, but this year they're doing Candlelight Processionals--usually they only do this a few times, but I guess they'll have quite a few this year. Club 33 is a member-only restaurant/club in New Orleans Square. Walt was inspired to build this after seeing these kind of VIP-only places at the World's Fair. This would be a place where Walt would entertain his honored guests or escape from the crowds. Unfortunately, Walt passed too soon to enjoy most of the club. Today, it is a member-only club (which also has some heavy funds). In order to dine there, you must be a member or be invited by a member. Personally, I wish it was acceptable to push an 8 year old in a stroller. I loved when my son was 3-4 and I could put all my stuff in the basket of the stroller while walking around and only had to carry stuff on the ride. Bring the stroller. I miss the days when I didn't have to pack everything. I've seen people pushing kids of all ages, including some that are probably in the double digit age range. We took my little girl (and HUGE Merida fan) to one of our local ren faires. She practiced her archery and sword fighting. She said: "Momma, I think Disneyland is gonna be just like thus!" Bug, you are in for a HUGE surprise:) 27 days!
