I haven't been to DL since the enforcement of FP tickets. Has it really streamlined the attraction wait times? (Yes, I was guilty of being a FP hoarder) trying to strategize my next visit
Fastpass times are indeed being enforced now :-) - uscdisneyteacher  6208.6 #7 5-23-13 8:59PM Like  Reply
I don't think it has changed much. They do check the hours. But we were there last Sat and the line for Splash mountain was 110 mins with NO FP, but it was probably 35 mins WITH the FP. Line was all the way out the barn entrance for FP. We gave up. They say it has helped on RSR since everyone was lining up in the FP near closing. I haven't seen much change on any of the lines though. - DLKenCA  1195.4 #97 5-23-13 10:17PM Like  Reply

Looking for tradition ideas. During every trip (2-3 times a year) the one souvenir each family member gets is a trading pin that represents the trip for them. Can anyone else share what traditions they have? Trying to start some new ones.  More...
Sharing "the volcano" at the rainforest cafe at the end of the night no matter how tired we are! We've fallen asleep at the table a couple of times :) - madamdopey26  149.8 #2512 5-19-13 10:36AM Like  Reply

Does anyone know if it is in the works to implement a dining plan similar to Disney World?
12.7 #7556 DL Qual #3502 5-1-13 1:26PM
Having serious Disney withdrawals, first time in years we are not going this week. Saving for Disneyworld trip.... Need opinions please. Is the premium pass worth it if we go to DW once and Disneyland several times?
How many days are you planning to do WDW? I wanted to upgrade to a premier for our upcoming trip, but we will only be there four days. Doesn't really justify the extra expense. I know some that have gone for 10 days, and it was a saver getting that pass for them. - Lelundrial  410.6 #446 5-1-13 1:45PM Like  Reply
What is the price to upgrade? Isn't it only like $200 more than premium? It seems in that case it would be worth it even for 4 days. - lohofosho  777.8 #180 5-1-13 1:46PM
Yes it is, you can't do the monthly payment for the premier pass though. If it wasn't for the monthly payment I could not afford our DL passes. - Lelundrial  410.6 #446 5-1-13 1:48PM
Yes its worth it! (I went 5 days and park hopped each day) - iamdugsmaster  878.3 #151 5-1-13 1:54PM Like  Reply
I believe that it's worth it just for the parking and the discount on food & merch! also how many people are you talking about? - missariel33  1101.7 #114 5-1-13 2:04PM Like  Reply
We will be going for eight days and are a family of 5. We usually make it to Disneyland 4 times a year. The deluxe is usually what we get because we stay in resort and park at the resort. Thanks for the help...wish we could do a payment plan for the premium , that's when it would come in handy πŸ˜ƒ - fab5  12.7 #7556 5-1-13 5:12PM Like  Reply

Quick question for the MW veterans...I tried to DM but was told I needed 10 points. I then read a post for a RAK and it said 25 points to be DM enabled. Can someone please clarify?
I think DM is available for everyone now. You just have to activate it from your profile. As for the 25 points and DM enabled that's just the rules set by MWers for their RAKs. Most just want to ensure you are contributing positively to the app and not just trolling around for free stuff. - KermitFan13  642.5 #228 4-1-13 2:24PM Like(2)  Reply
Thanks😊 I was asking because I wanted to offer up a RAK...my resolution this year was to do 25 random acts if kindness ...I have one left to meet my goal. I was wanting to do it here because everyone seems so appreciative. I was just want to make sure that I do it successfully. I think I'll wait until I have the 10. - fab5  12.7 #7556 4-1-13 4:12PM Like(1)  Reply
You can do trivia on Facebook and get to 10 in a day or so. :) - ShariRenee  3415.2 #24 4-1-13 4:25PM
Eitherway you don't have enough points. The MWer RAKing can set the rules of their RAK. So one can say 10 min to enter or 25 min and DM enabled. Some MWers set with no limits.. Read the FAQ for the answer for how many points to enable the DM feature on MW. I'm not certain but I believe its 10 pts. - vincentchase1  672.6 #217 4-1-13 2:15PM Like  Reply
Or once upon a time it was 10 pts. - vincentchase1  672.6 #217 4-1-13 2:16PM
The poster probably meant that you must have 25 points to be eligible to enter their RAK and you also must have your DM enabled (which requires only 10 points, but you still wouldn't be qualified to enter the RAK, per the poster's rules). - Alicewhoareyou  789.0 #174 4-1-13 2:23PM Like  Reply
