I did this last year. I found the last SoCal Select pass at Von's in June and bought it at the old price. Then, when it was time to re-purchase our passes in October, I went to the ticket booth and redeemed it for my oldest son's pass. I then purchased our other passes using the payment plan. This is disappointing. We were at the park last week with my wife's mother so she could see her granddaughter at the park for the first time and it seemed very difficult for her to be accommodated. Having not known about all of this I now understand why. - JediJosh
