Mystery RAK at Disneyland. In about 20-30 minutes (however long it takes for me to walk there) there will be a mystery RAK in locker 1793 on Main Street. Code is 1910. Good Luck.
Hee-Hee! I put in the bag of chips after I found the egg in there maybe half an hour before you found it! - TresBelleClochette 247.0 #1040 9-19-12 1:38AM

Thanks for the safe wishes. Just stopped for the night in the middle of nowhere. About 6 hours from Disneyland now. See everyone tomorrow. - justme2012142.5 #2403 9-13-12 10:08PMLike Reply
The wife and I just started to get things ready for our trip in a few days and sadly it reminded me of the one and only bad experience I have ever had at Disneyland. The day someone stole my kids hats. One year ago today I accidentally More...
Sorry to hear that. On the other side of that, on our last trip I dropped a small bag with some headphones and our WOC fast passes as we were walking to the show. I felt really bad because it
was supposed to be my wife's first WOC since she got sick last time we went and couldn't watch it. The CMs were very nice and gave us replacement passes and luckily someone turned in my headphones to the lost and found. Now we have the passes we couldn't use to remind us of the good people who found my headphones. - jmotajr6.2 #8860 9-7-12 7:25AMLike Reply
Thats great to hear. I have had a lot of experiences like that where CMs bend the rules to help out. Hope she liked the show. - justme2012142.5 #2403 9-7-12 8:08AMLike Reply
Don't let it sour you on Disneyland and the amazing CMs. Last time we went my three year old decided that my brand new Droid needed to go visit Mickeys landfill (ie he threw it in the trash). By the time we realized it was gone and got the story out of him the trash had been removed. So I made a claim at lost and found and was sure it was gone. Two days after our trip Disney called they had the phone and shipped it back to me free. They are amazing! - brealover298.0 #621 9-7-12 9:00AMLike Reply
I havent been to Disneyland too many times in my life (about 6) but like I said, one bad experience in 40 years isnt too bad. Still love the place but just brings back a little anger since its one of those unresolved things. Gives the kids the chance to pick something different anyways. I just really appreciated the CMs, especially at lost and found, who may not have remembered my name but knew what I was there for every time I checked in. Its true that Disneyland is a magical place but the CMs are what keep the magic alive. As for this bad moment, I guess I just had to share it to get it out of my system so thanks for letting me vent a bit. I look forward to my trip next week and hopefully meeting some of my fellow MWers. Until then; keep the magic alive. - justme2012 142.5 #2403 9-7-12 9:47PM
Sometimes you've gotta put your past behind you! Don't let that one off moment stay with on this trip. You may spend the times focused on what bad will happen and maybe miss something awesome in a place where good usually out weighs the bad. I hope you have a lot of fun and make some fabulous memories with your family this trip! - 559MickeyLover266.9 #859 9-7-12 10:01AMLike Reply
I am now sad. Not only did I not get to run in any of the races this weekend but the half marathon is already sold out for January and the 5k is 83% full. Guess I have to wait until next summer.
If you would like to run the half you can look to causes to run on behalf of - BooEve123800.6 #117 9-2-12 10:04PMLike(2) Reply
If I lived closer I probably would. Thanks for the tip, though. I will just wait til next summer. Will give me more time to prepare. Can barely run for 5 minutes at a time right now. Have a long way to go. - justme2012 142.5 #2403 9-3-12 9:56AM
then it sounds like starting to train now would be a great idea and have attainable goals. best wishes :) - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 1802.6 #42 9-3-12 7:18PM

Im thinking about it but we werent planning on being there that early. Our boys birthdays are the 6th of February and we were going for that primarily. Still debating it but dependent on transportation and lots of other factors. - justme2012 142.5 #2403 9-3-12 7:14PM
I personally want to thank Strawberryguy for streaming the Fantasmic AP event. I wish I could have been there myself but this was a close second. It's hard to believe that I first saw Fantasmic almost exactly 1 year ago (the 30th of Au More...
Just a heads up for anyone going to Disneyland soon. Disney now has a Photopass+ that you can preorder before your trip (at least 14 days). For anyone who normally buy the CD anyways it can be a great deal. Last year we paid $60 for th More...
Here is the link for the Photopass+ if you are interested (been a busy morning and I forgot to include it).

I just want to be clear on what this includes because I was reading into this today and not positive on what the deal with this is... So you pre order the photopass plus and with that you get the photopass cd where you can load all the photos from your trip including dining and attraction posters and the resort photo cd (which I assume is a cd with nice pictures of the resort??) and is that it? Or does it include prints too? I just want to have all the facts because I am considering this for my trip in November. Thanks! :) - kbritt27250.3 #1011 8-27-12 8:31PMLike(1) Reply
You get a voucher when you preorder, bring that to DL to get your photo pass. You get prints from character dining, but the rest are digital. So when you go to the attractions, after the ride you give them your pass and the picture loaded to your card. This also happens when CMs take your pictures with characters. When you get home, all the digital photos can be uploaded on their website to a cd that will be mailed to you. Preorder is 69, at the parks it's 99. Totally worth it since it's 14 per attraction print (which you can take more than one on each attraction to add to your cd) and 40 for character dining prints. You also get the resort cd, I believe. - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper 324.2 #507 8-27-12 9:08PM

I was hoping someone may have tried and found out the answer but has Disneyland added WiFi yet? I know it's in the works but was hoping it was up and running by the time I'm down there in a couple weeks. Unfortunately WiFi is my only ho More...
If you're from out of the country the last thing I'd suggest is being in your phone wasting your time. - HotDiggityDogDaddy1112.2 #74 8-25-12 9:52PMLike(1) Reply
I was just hoping to be able to use the phone to help here with the wait times. I am the designated runner for my family and know all the short cuts and tricks to get around the park and get fast passes for the family or whatever else is needed. I put on too many miles on my shoes. It would also be nice to give away all the extra passes at the end of the day to people here. When we were here at the opening of Star Tours I would just give them away randomly to whoever.
The phone, though, is history otherwise. I will spend the money on Disney souvenirs and not on roaming. - justme2012 142.5 #2403 8-25-12 10:05PM
Ooooo I hope they added it that's awesome!!! - disneylove712.3 #6169 8-25-12 9:44PMLike Reply

No wifi in the parks, but if you stand in the hotel lobby you can get it there. Also the cocos behind the park across the street has wifi for their customers. - mini_MINNIE 414.9 #312 8-25-12 9:49PMLike Reply
