At Leap Day Disneyland didn't actually hit capacity till about 9:00 pm. Keep in mind that this time around both parks will remain open, even with grad nite going on there is a chance that they may not hit capacity at that same time. Just one little point of reference, with all the hoopla surrounding the opening of Carsland and BVS, (which took place on a Friday during the summer season) neither park hit capacity on opening day, and it remained that way the entire summer. So with that being said, I think there is a definite possibility that both parks may hit capacity, but it may not happen til closer to midnight when a lot of people would like to go just because they want to be there for the night. Now if they were doing this on a night when there wasn't a grad nite, I would feel pretty confident in saying that the parks probably wouldn't hit capacity, but it's hard to tell how grad nite will affect this event. - NotNKansasAnymor174.4 #1934 5-21-13 1:33AMLike(1) Reply

I booked the Grand Californian for my stay. Was wondering how long walking about does it take to reach entrance of both parks? How do you get to DL exactly do you walk through CA?

Yes!! Do not waste time waiting in a long line in the hotel to get into the park first thing in the morning. It's just a short walk thru Downtown Disney to the front entrances of both parks. The Grand neighbors DCA and has its own entrance to DCA so realistically it would take you 10 mins or less from your room at the Grand to the entrance to DCA. The walk from the Grand to Disneyland is a bit longer. You can either exit the Grand walk through Downtown Disney and go through bag check then to the Main Gates at Disneyland which could take you 20 to 25 mins to walk. The other option is to use the DCA park entrance walk through Condor flats to Buena Vista Street exit out the main gates of DCA and walk through the Esplanade and enter the Disneyland main gates this would take about 15 to 20 mins. - vincentchase641.9 #169 9-14-12 12:16PMLike(1) Reply

Carthay Theatre is located on the back side of Grizzly River Rapid on Buena Vista Street. From the Grand its only about 10 mins or less walking. When you get to the hotel ask for a Map of both parks. Does Disneyland Express pick up from Grand Californian then drop you off at Disneyland Hotel to take you back to airport to SNA? So you take two busses? Just worried might miss early flight??
