I like the older buildings (3,4,5,6) because the rooms are huuuuuge and they are easy access to the parking lot. Building 2 is newer and nice esp with the garden pool view. I've never stayed in 1. The HoJo is a good choice and you can get a MW discount there. Also, you can get really good deals on Priceline if you know what you're doing, but be aware that you won't be able to choose your hotel. Just found site/app this morning! Cool so far. Planning a trip to DL next year, late summer or pos. Christmas season (which we've never done before) What does everyone think about going in Dec.?
I have heard the actual Christmas week(2) are very crowded. We are going Thanksgiving week so we can still enjoy all the holiday decorations without quite as many crowds. If you don't have kids or don't mind taking them out of school, week after Thanksgiving is supposed to be good, too. If you go in the summer, I would recommend June. The earlier, the better. The weather was so much more pleasant then. It gets hot later in summer, and has been plenty hot lately, too. But...it is fun no matter when you go!
