I have 5 year old twins. My husband grew up near Disneyland, and we visit from WA a couple of weeks, twice a year. I love ToT, Stitch, Ewoks, Villains & HM!
Are your minis looking to be rock stars for the day? I highly recommend taking them to Disney Studio 365 in DTD! I cannot say enough great things about this place. The ladies that work here are amazing! They took their time with my 5 year More...
Very cute twins, even without the makeover - Philliprocks276.6 #762 3-15-13 9:44PMLike Reply
Oh yes I remember you asking about this...the twins where one was more into princesses the other more rock star. Glad they had a great time!! - Linzee517.2 #225 3-15-13 9:53PMLike Reply
Yep, you have a good memory! The girlie in pink is more princessy, but she loved this! - NellTinkerBell 234.8 #1172 3-15-13 9:59PM
I'm going to Carthay Circle tonight for a kiddo-free anniversary dinner! I've seen some tasty concoctions of the alcoholic sort posted on here before, and I need some suggestions. What's your favorite cocktail there?
I enjoyed the pear martini. - madsdad1124.9 #73 2-28-13 9:24AMLike Reply
That sounds refreshing. Was it really sweet? I'm more of a strong drink kinda gal... - NellTinkerBell 234.8 #1172 2-28-13 9:27AM
I love it too, not that sweet. Their dirty martini w/truffle olives was yummy and strong! - ShariRenee 1505.7 #51 2-28-13 9:31AM
Ok, I need some smiles and laughter this morning. What is the funniest, craziest or strangest thing that's happened to you while at the Parks?
Apoligize if you've read this b4...A year ago my husband was in a scooter chair due to a cast on his torn Achilles. We decided to eat dinner at Goofy's Kitchen. The characters would all come over and stand by him for a photo (it was his bday and hard for him to keep getting up from his chair). Well, Minnie Mouse came over to say hello and stood next to my husband while he was seated. I reached for my camera and all I heard was my husband say to Minnie "I'm so sorry, I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to do that" I had no idea what happened so I took the picture and Minnie scooted away. Apparently, when he had put his arm around her for the photo, he underestimated how tiny she was and accidentally copped a feel.😳. - Linzee517.2 #225 1-26-13 8:39AMLike(9) Reply
I am wondering if anyone has experience taking their minis to Bibbidy Boppity Boutique or Disney 365 for Princess or Rock Star makeovers? I'm leaning toward Disney 365, since it seems more my twinisies' style, but it sorta lacks the "mag More...
I still like doing the bibbidy boppidy boutique for my daughter, it just seems more special, especially for her age. When she is like 35 to 40 I'll probably let her do the 365 stuff since she will be tool old for the princess stuff then. - madsdad1124.9 #73 1-25-13 1:46PMLike(3) Reply
Have you invested in a rather intimidating looking shotgun yet? - Linzee 517.2 #225 1-25-13 1:49PM
You didn't know he's got one attached to each arm? - Vegaspooh 118.5 #2762 1-25-13 1:58PM
My daughter is 5 and we did the Bibbidy Boppity Boutique. She absolutely loved it. It really made her feel like a princess. When we go back in July she wants to do Disney 365 to be a 'rockstar'. LOL - Ldgsg19.3 #5123 1-25-13 1:27PMLike Reply
We did the Studio 365 because it was my daughter's 10th birthday (and my 12 year old daughter did it too). They loved the attention and special hairdo/ makeup. Then we went back into the parks where we had dinner and fun! IMO Studio 365 is better for older girls. - NikkiMickey1583.8 #49 1-25-13 2:09PMLike Reply
How old are your girls? When my oldest was 10, we did the 365 place. She was definitely beyond the Bibbidi Bobbi Boutique stage. My almost 8 year old still loves BBB. Both are great makeovers. Maybe let them know what each place has to offer and just let them decide. If a little girl wants to be a princess (no matter her age), then go with BBB. - meridafan1036.1 #83 1-25-13 3:28PMLike Reply
They just turned 5. Now I'm leaning toward BBB. Thanks for the input! - NellTinkerBell 234.8 #1172 1-25-13 3:58PM

I was just looking through some pictures and found this from last month. My twinisies loved the goats at Jingle Jangle Jamboree and I loved that the goats were dressed in Christmas bandanas :)
Thanks. I think I loved the goats more than them! - NellTinkerBell 234.8 #1172 12-9-12 5:16PM
@NTB. I totally read that wrong. I thought you meant that you loved the goats more than you loved your girls. SMH!Your girls are beautiful. - MrsSchnooks 574.1 #191 12-9-12 5:29PM
On this day in 1901, Walt Disney was born. What would our world be like without this man's dream and willingness to aspire to bring out the child in all of us? Happy Birthday Mr. Disney!
My favorite creepily cute creature in NOS! She's in the Minnie Shop window. I want to recreate her for my home :)
There are two things in this world that scare me. Birds and porcelain dolls. This nonsense is just way inappropriate to be at Disneyland. - AshleyLynn22747.6 #136 11-19-12 3:49PMLike(5) Reply
This made me laugh so hard! There's also a little mini one in the same window :) - NellTinkerBell 234.8 #1172 11-19-12 3:52PM
I fell bad, but that cracked me up😂😂 - Mouse4life 1065.8 #80 11-19-12 3:53PM
This is from earlier today at Jingle Jangle Jamboree. Waiting for Santa to get back from his "milk & cookie" break so that we could meet him! I love the snowflakes made of rope at the top of the picture.
