We met this little hobo kitty on our last trip. It was nice to meet you Gideon!

If anyone is interested I found a good deal for a hotel stay on Groupon. It's for the HOJO in Fullerton free shuttle to DLR, free parking, and free breakfast. From $52 each night! Up to 4 people. Hope this helps those traveling from out o More...
O my gosh thank you! I was looking for a hotel for me and my CM friends for May 24th and 25th. That is the perfect price :) - CMallyg9285.2 #3210 4-30-13 2:13PMLike Reply

So excited to celebrate my birthday at the parks tomorrow!! Last year of my twenties! 😭 I'm going to make this year the best of all lol. Here's to hoping I can sleep tonight! 💆
My big brother loves his tattoos and is getting a new one for each each of his siblings. This one is for me. I think it's awesome! He's fought a hard battle against addiction and I'm so proud of him he's been clean and sober for 9 years. More...

Does anyone know if CMs can still get 3 people into the park for free or do they charge? My hubby has a customer that's a CM and said he could get people in for $80 a person. We have passes so we wouldn't need it but I thought they got pe More...
I would never imply that this CM is dishonest, but a close friend of ours who also works for Disney said if they get caught accepting money for letting people in the parks, it is immediate termination. - RadiatorSprings4Ever136.9 #2493 4-5-13 11:07PMLike(4) Reply
I think this is the case... 👎 - dolewhipkarlita 14.9 #5700 4-6-13 12:41AM
They can sign people in but they have to stay with you all day because there were people getting signed in who were misbehaving. They can also buy you discounted tickets. It's like $80 for one park and $100 for a park hopper. They don't have to stay with you for that. - ibsleepingbeauty1231.3 #4317 4-6-13 7:54AMLike Reply
👆That's what I thought, although it seems to be enforced at WDW more than at DLR. - bluefairy 627.4 #174 4-6-13 10:07AM
You are the second MW'er I have seen post some great pin finds at the thrift store. I keep hunting but have yet to find any hidden gems haha, I got to keep on the lookout. What section of the store did you find these in? - lohofosho287.4 #686 3-16-13 5:45PMLike Reply
I go to one and they keep them behind the counter and everyone seems to know what the good ones are so I don't find much when I go! boohoo!! - secretagentangel 670.2 #154 3-16-13 5:55PM
hahah maybe that's my problem too! Thanks for the tip on the location :) - lohofosho 287.4 #686 3-16-13 6:04PM
Hello Friends! A while back there was a post about rare characters like Roger Rabbit coming to DLR around Easter. I can't remember the exact info and my hubby doesn't want to miss this! Does anyone know the specifics?

Oh no I'm having major Disneyland withdrawals today!! I'm trying to decide if I should take advantage of the fantasy fair preview tomorrow. Is it worth it? Or just as crowded as it will be?
Coming from someone who did the cars land and Buena vista street preview. It will be the least busy it will ever be at the preview! From Tuesday on you will have hour plus long waits for the princesses and that just as soon as it opens. Imagine when summer comes. That's why spencer and I are coming up tomorrow. - ImAlwaysCrazy646.4 #167 3-7-13 3:38PMLike(1) Reply
They limit the number of people per group. We went today for the 12-2 time frame. We could only stay for an hour, but it wasn't too bad. The area is pretty small. We couldn't get seats for the show, but they have standing room outside the theater. It was pretty organized I thought. Some people headed to take pictures with the princesses and others went to the show. Had we stayed the whole 2 hours, we could have grabbed seats for the 2nd show and been fine. I did go get the food right when we got inside and there was no line. After the show ended, the line for food was really long. I say go, I'm glad we did even if it was only for an hour. - goofymom2boys398.3 #337 3-7-13 3:51PMLike Reply
I would no matter what! It beats being stuck at home, work, etc. :D - iamdugsmaster756.8 #133 3-7-13 3:59PMLike Reply
If you have an opportunity to go, I would say go. We drove up from San Diego just for this. It was crowded but manageable. My mini (son) was out of control. so we came home after tasting treats. We didnt meet any princesses or get to watch the show. It was standing room only by the time we made it in. I was in the wrong area waiting to watch the 2nd show. Prepare to wait in lines. You can get everything done just right, if you line up right after you get your wristband. walk through to see the princesses first as soon as they let you in the area at 12 then grab a seat for the show. - pinkmonkeys321.7 #516 3-7-13 5:27PMLike Reply
Found this hidden gem last time we were at the parks. Can anyone guess what and where this is?
I'm guessing someplace in fantasyland and maybe near something Alice related. - aidensmama336.6 #445 2-23-13 9:46PMLike(1) Reply
Something with Alice and wonderland, that's the doorknob that swallows her. Is it where the little door is next to the ride? - LilMissPixie8435.1 #4174 2-23-13 9:47PMLike(1) Reply

I sure am grateful for Disneyland security. Left to go home and my car wouldn't start!! Thank goodness they were able to jump start it for me!! Just one more reason to love Disneyland!
That's what i love about security, and ESP. Disney security, they make sure you have a wonderful, trouble free day in the parks and continue that wonderful service all the way to the parking structure to make sure you continue having a good day and get on your way safe and sound! I'm so glad they were able to get your car up and running and you made it home safe, have a wonderful day! O: ) - jennyangel256.6 #8557 2-11-13 2:23AMLike(1) Reply
Thanks everyone! I'm glad it was just the battery. Apparently it's not a good idea to leave my phone charger plugged into the car 24/7. 😬 At least that's what the security guard said! Lol so thankful for them! - dolewhipkarlita14.9 #5700 2-11-13 10:51AMLike Reply
Yeah, it's a really good way to drain your battery. If it has a light, and it's lit that means it's pulling from your battery. - letsrckthis 161.5 #2129 2-11-13 11:04AM
I wish the park would have more characters around. I always see the same ones every time I go! Seems like they have more variety as WDW?
The only thing I would love is for Belle to occasionally make appearances at DL in her blue dress. That would be my dream photo op!!💙🌹💙 - RCmom2590.4 #21 2-7-13 4:07PMLike(1) Reply

I cannot wait to go back to my second home on Friday!! We will be taking my momma this time. Does anyone have any good ideas on how to convince her to not be afraid of The Little Mermaid and Monsters Inc? Lol she is a scaredy cat!

Monsters need screams to power their city...sorry! I have no advice for that. However, just buy her some SCUBA gear for The Little Mermaid. She will be just fine! :) - Armenda994.9 #89 12-4-12 3:44PMLike(3) Reply
Hello and welcome! :) Tell her that Little Mermaid is a really cute ride that is colorful, musical, fun, and features the unforgettable characters from the movie. It also doesn't move faster than 2 miles per hour. Same goes for Monsters Inc. I hope you have a nice visit and again, welcome to the Lounge. :) - JRDrummer_CM792.8 #119 12-4-12 3:50PMLike(1) Reply
Thanks everyone for the great ideas! My husband said we should look on youtube for videos of the rides. That way she can see theyre not scary and hopefully be able to enjoy them with us! Either way I'm looking forward to a fun time with my Mom! Question: for candlelight ceremonies does the park close early? Or can people that don't win tickets get to stand and watch?
Park hours are still regular. Seating for the 1st and 2nd is reserved for VIP and I believe all other nights are raffled off but if they don't fill there is a POSSIBILITY they may allow day guests on a first come first sever basis. Anyone is welcome to stand in town square and watch the show as well. - lostgirl7988541.6 #208 11-26-12 2:14PMLike Reply
