Do any of you still collect autographs? We didn't prepare during our trip and asked Cinderella to sign a old receipt (scrounged up in my purse) but she declined, saying her King has strict rules. Later that day, I saw Pluto declining an a More...

Found this answer: "The only thing that discourages characters from signing autographs is if they wear gloves and you bring a traditional pen. I highly recommend that you take a very thick pen. Don't take a Sharpie or other type of permanent marker as the characters with gloves won't sign your book if you do. Make sure it's just a thick barrel pen and you'll have no problems. Don't forget to tell the character your name and they will sign personalized messages for you. It's fun collecting autographs at Disneyland." - DisneyDavidEMT446.9 #275 1-8-13 12:04AMLike Reply
Not true I took Sharpies to have the colors coresponden with each Character to sign my nieces Xmas Cards and everyone signed them even the one's wearing gloves. - HanLostLeia 1092.5 #76 1-8-13 12:35AM
i would think it's different for cards vs. autograph books? sharpie would bleed through different pages of the autograph book i think. - nicoleface 1247.5 #65 1-8-13 12:40AM
I took colored paper (used colors that matched the character) and fine point sharpies in April and didn't have a problem. I've seen them decline park tickets as well. Maybe as long as it's a blank piece of paper then it's ok. - LilSterner2656.0 #17 1-8-13 12:25AMLike Reply
My 6 yr old son is still afraid of the non human characters but instantly fell in love with Duffy. Asked to take a picture with him and ran up and hugged (errr... tackled??) Duffy! He sleeps with his very own Duffy every night since that magical day. - WeLuvDuffy 3.6 #15839 1-6-13 9:37PM
No not really, the big ones go away, the tree, trimmings and such but it slowly goes up and somehow takes awhile to completely go away as well, the castle and small world being one of those. - MarshaMouse2834.9 #15 1-6-13 9:25PMLike Reply
I really enjoy seeing all your beautiful photos from DL and DCA! Honestly, I can't recognize quite a few of the places. I'll have to jot down some notes so I can visit these places on our next trip!
