The zoo is fun if youre taking kids.. And theres a carousel with a nice pak next to it on Cabrillo st right across from the pier. Without kids, my favorite thing to do is shopping on state street and at the Paseo shops.. Lots of restaurants and cafes there.. I could go on and on about this.. And so I will.. One of the best things about going to SB is the drive up I take the 5 to the 126... Theres a fish hatchery that the kids love to stop at, a bee farm with a honey tasting room.. Really cool.. Fruit stands.. Historic trains in fillmore.. Downtown Ventura has vintage shops and restaurants.. Carpinteria is an amazing little town to check out and there are Orchid farms just past it off of the FWY..
