I have a great plain leather cross body Dooney and Bourke satchel. It seems to work well at DL. I also have two cross body Harvey's bags--a plain purple and the red polka dot one. They are really roomy and convenient. Personally, I prefer a cross body bag to a backpack. I haven't worn a fanny pack since my neon days in the 80s, so I can't really say whether or not they are convenient. Two things are important to me: I want both of my hands free and I want to be comfy. I definitely bring sunglasses, Advil, Benadryl, water, and lip balm with SPF. - Spoonful_O_Sugar   719.8 #334 5-26-13 8:01PM Like  Reply

If you have minis that can't go on things like star tours, I suggest fantasyland first. We started with Peter pan then just went around. Hit all the FL rides within a hour. Even made finding nemo with a short line. If you have no minis or want bigger rides do Tomorrowland. Both the big rides and FL get really busy in the afternoons when kids get heat cranky. One more tip innoventions is a great place to cool off in the afternoons. Catch the Peter pan show in the boys room. Hope this helps. - TwinkleJenn   103.5 #3751 4-10-13 12:37PM Like(1)  Reply

Hi everyone! I'm taking my first trip ever to Disneyland in July for July 4th! Do you have any "must-rides", "must-eats", or tips for July 4th in Disneyland? Thank you in advance! :-)
It will be VERY busy, especially for fireworks. Take advantage of fast passes, but remember to use them during your hour window. Watch shows in the air conditioned buildings. Stay hydrated and remember that quick service restaurants will give you a free cup of water. For fireworks viewing, Main Street will be packed and walkways will be stopped. If you're in another area of the park come time for fireworks, I'd suggest staying there rather than try to make your way to Main Street. Remember that CMs are just doing their job and may be stressed or frustrated. Most of all, have fun! - IDVandalSkipperCM   2754.2 #64 4-2-13 6:26PM Like(5)  Reply
