Well called it a day a little early today. A little bummed, misread the events for today. No Aladdin shows until Friday and tomorrow is our last day. Guess we will just have to plan to come back to DL.

Mrs TheDad is wondering what section to sit in at Aladdin? - TheDad
I prefer balcony, front row because then you can see everything that takes place overhead and in the aisles. - NikkiMickey   1682.7 #71 6-2-10 6:21AM Like  Reply
Balcony or the middle sections - StephiePooh   572.6 #293 6-2-10 6:23AM Like  Reply
Try to see it again in a different location. We love the show! - Song   1547.1 #79 6-2-10 11:58AM Like  Reply
Yup, balcony, front row. Especially if you have little girls. When Aladin and Jasmine are on the carpet, they come right up to you! - Amanda   120.7 #2994 6-2-10 12:03PM Like  Reply

Check out the Hojo Anaheim website. There is a message board there. It will explain it. We have booked some really cheap rooms. We love the Hojo. We have stayed at least 10 nights there in the last 12 months. - TheCannon   6.1 #12674 1-25-10 9:05PM Like  Reply
Go to www.hojoanaheim.com and search entertainment It will give you all the details and dates the rate is available. Rooms are discounted from $59 to $99 for a kids suite. They are very friendly and most of their rooms have upgraded pillow top matresses and a pool and a little waterpark for the kids. Parking is also free! If your dates are not available they have annual pass holders discount or mouseplanet discount. I think it's 15% off the rack rate. - Letitsnow   1.5 #56610 1-25-10 9:06PM Like  Reply

Planning a trip to Disneyland in May, any suggestions on parts of LA around the parks to avoid.
Any tips for our first driving trip to DisneyLand from Oklahoma - TheDad   64.7 #80 1-24-10 5:48PM Like  Reply
Overall, Disneyland is located near many hotels, a shopping center, and other tourist friendly places. I wouldn't be too worried about avoiding any places if you're sticking around the Disney area. - DeannaDisney   5.4 #14298 1-24-10 5:55PM Like  Reply
U will like that hotel. RIGHT across the street and May wont be too busy with locals. Have a great time. - ToneLoc   457.1 #398 1-24-10 7:02PM Like  Reply
I am SO jealous! Wish I were doing that drive! And actually the culture shock was Australia to okc - I'm actually an Aussie. Took us a while to get used to it but we really miss it now. We still own a house there we rent out (sw side). 10 & 17 are great ages for your road trip! I would get a really good map book and plan and book your stops. There are some great old diners still on the old Rte 66. We like to plan our trip so we get to the hotel about early afternoon and then head over to DTD to get "in the mood" and we usually eat at Rainforest Cafe that first night. We get our Parkhoppers online so we don't need to stand in the ticket line. We also like to get to the parks for rope drop and we might dedicate a couple days to rides and a couple to parades and shows. That way you can ride during parade times which is often less busy for rides, and on parade/show days you can leisurely stake out your spot early and send someone for drinks and churros or Dole Whips or whatever while you wait. There are obviously heaps of tips and tricks here on MW so make sure you are really familiar with those and don't forget to post updates and pics for us poor wretches who can't be there! Have the BEST time ever!!! - BLG   1049.5 #132 1-24-10 8:36PM Like  Reply
