Well called it a day a little early today.
A little bummed, misread the events for today. No Aladdin shows until Friday and tomorrow is our last day.
Guess we will just have to plan to come back to DL.

Go to www.hojoanaheim.com and search entertainment It will give you all the details and dates the rate is available. Rooms are discounted from $59 to $99 for a kids suite. They are very friendly and most of their rooms have upgraded pillow top matresses and a pool and a little waterpark for the kids. Parking is also free!

I am SO jealous! Wish I were doing that drive! And actually the culture shock was Australia to okc - I'm actually an Aussie. Took us a while to get used to it but we really miss it now. We still own a house there we rent out (sw side). 10 & 17 are great ages for your road trip! I would get a really good map book and plan and book your stops. There are some great old diners still on the old Rte 66. We like to plan our trip so we get to the hotel about early afternoon and then head over to DTD to get "in the mood" and we usually eat at Rainforest Cafe that first night. We get our Parkhoppers online so we don't need to stand in the ticket line. We also like to get to the parks for rope drop and we might dedicate a couple days to rides and a couple to parades and shows. That way you can ride during parade times which is often less busy for rides, and on parade/show days you can leisurely stake out your spot early and send someone for drinks and churros or Dole Whips or whatever while you wait. There are obviously heaps of tips and tricks here on MW so make sure you are really familiar with those and don't forget to post updates and pics for us poor wretches who can't be there!
