Although my husband loves our family DL trips he is not the Mouse addict that I am so that made me wonder how many male vs. females there are on here. Anyone care to share since, with the exception of some, usernames can be deceiving?
@engagedatdisney or @beautyandthebeast either of you still interested?

I have stayed at desert inn three times in the last few months and love it. It's clean rooms were big and the park is right cross the street. - Dottie-JP173.6 #1984 5-22-11 11:46PMLike Reply
Had great luck at HoJo. Very nice, room with a balcony that faced the park to watch fireworks. Hot tub and fun water area for kids. Discounts at mousesaver.com. A little longer walk. - Katya75321.3 #534 5-22-11 11:47PMLike Reply
I know there have been a lot of posts like this but couldn't find anything specific in tips. We usually stat on property. I need decent hotels within walking to the park, off property, besides candy cane which we love. Anyone stayed at Ca More...
I've stayed at the Fairfield Inn - thought the rooms were okay but the Mimi's is in the same parking lot. And it's not too far from Disneyland either. Although after a whole day of walking @ Disney I didn't like the walk back to the hotel.
I've also stayed at the Best Western Anaheim Inn and that was nice and closer than Fairfield and cheaper.
And I've stayed at the Park Vue Inn and LOVED IT. It was more expensive than Fairfield and Best Western though. - underthesea82273.6 #3407 5-18-11 5:42PMLike Reply
We always stay at the Best Western Park Place Mini Suites. It is the closest. They have a free breakfast, quick and easy. The also have plenty of room, 2 queens and a pullout couch for when my two kids can't seem to sleep in the same bed - mzdisnee231.1 #20 5-18-11 5:45PMLike Reply
Whats for dinner? I need some quick and easy chicken ideas that the kids will like. :)
I love chicken and rice it's easy takes about 30 min, just put the chicken and rice in a baking pan mix with a can of cream of chicken and bake at 350 for 30-35 min

I think GoofyJoe told us the Disney Adventures tour was something like $2500.00...but it sounds like more of a vacation package than a tour. So then it doesn't seem so expensive. Vern and I took the "Walking in Walt's Footsteps" tour. It was awesome. We paid something like $60.00 each for it. It's over 3 hours long and includes lunch. I highly recommend it. We learned so much and we did get to go into just the lobby of club 33...it was cool to even get to walk through the door! - vernswifevickie374.1 #378 4-30-11 5:31AMLike Reply

Mrsmouse's RAK makes me wonder. How much would admin have to charge for the app to make it worthwhile form him with no ads? The ads don't bother me or anything, just wondering cause I am guilty of not clicking.
Bummed by all the recent reprimanding and reporting let's get back to the Mouse. Looking forward to Little mermaid and Cars Land. What attraction would you like to see built next?
Bring the Peole Mover back! Though I am really looking forward to those mentioned plus Star Tours! - weaver941403.9 #331 4-29-11 10:22AMLike Reply

Are the parks going to be super crowded Friday and Saturday the 29th and 30th? We are off on Friday for Nevada day so that'll add to the crowds.
I would guess, Yes! It's always crowded on weekends and it's Halloween time!!! - d!sn3yphan310.2 #577 10-8-10 10:42AMLike Reply
Nevada Day? What a great idea! We should all get a day off in honor of each and ever state! ;) - Bunnie287.9 #696 10-8-10 10:47AMLike Reply
It's almost always crowded any more. The off season has basically been eliminated. - BillE350.8 #422 10-8-10 10:51AMLike Reply
Thanks for the input. Yes Nevada day dont other states recognize the day they became a state? It always gives us a holiday around Halloween. Growing up we'd always go to DL on that day off of school cause it wasn't as crowded, not anymore though. :) - Pineapplewhip14.9 #5821 10-9-10 8:30AMLike Reply
Sandra d had some great tips for the Halloween party. Anyone else have any insight/advice as to why to get there early. For rides, to avoid crowds? And how the dance party is/where it is?
The line to get into the park moves very slowly so that's the benefit of getting there early. I passed by the dance party I think. It was in new Orleans square where that resteraunt with the large outdoor dining area is. I forget the name... - MTLott79.8 #3330 10-5-10 7:15PMLike Reply
The dance party in river belle terrace was fantastic! It was Jack skellington themed. So much fun! We had a blast!! - Katy-K10.7 #6694 10-5-10 8:55PMLike Reply
Anyone know what rides are open during the Halloween party?
I'm guessing all of them will be open. But, Fantasyland and ToonTown may close early for fireworks - BaseballMickey_CM2996.9 #15 9-27-10 4:39PMLike Reply

Thank you. Hoping it's really only for those two days since it's right in the middle of our stay and I'd cry if i didn't get my potc fix. :) - Pineapplewhip14.9 #5821 9-12-10 2:58PMLike Reply
Small world shows closed 10/31 & 11/1. Does anyone know if this is for holiday decoration and when it will open? Same for redwood creek. Any insight? We'll be bummed if they're both closed our entire stay 10/31-11/5. Thanks!
Considering taking the kids to mickeys Halloween party this year. Would like some input, is it worth it, is The Halloween night party ridiculously crowded? And any tips. Thank you.

Every first weekend of October we go and do the event, but we might skip out on this year given that it's pricey and it's going to be a nightmare in Disneyland because of all the day guests - AuzRoxUrSox902.5 #102 7-14-10 7:31AMLike Reply
